I hope this is ok and allowed here (if not, please delete). I’m not actually a Pelicans fan (I’m a Mavs fan), but I just found this story in Slovenian media. This is an article from a very reliable Slovenian reporter and it says it was originally planned for Matkovic to join in the summer, but now it’s very likely it will happen this February.
If anyone wants I can translate it. At least the part about Matkovic joining, but there isn’t much else mentioned about it. Most of the article is about his team Cedevita Olimpija.
Basically his team have a really bad season and don’t really have a chance to reach their goals anymore. Matkovic has been one of the few bright spots of this team. So it makes sense.
If anyone has any questions about Karlo just ask. I’ve watched almost all of his games this and last season.

Well first off what position does Matkovic play, and what do you think the most valuable aspects of his game are? Is he a shooter? A rim protector? A point guard?
