[Carlin] Patrick Beverley on the keys to slowing Jamal Murray late: “No key. I’ve been locking his ass up for years.” On his approach against a guy like Murray: “No approach. Normal day.”

Pat Bev jawing off again lol. Jamal had a decent statline of 17/3/10 but most his points were in the second quarter and kinda struggled in the fourth. Pat Bev’s pretty clear on what he thinks of the matchup (played 27 minutes last night and closed over Oubre).

If Pat bev sees Jamal Murray in a dark alley he’s not intimidated

That’s Play in game champion Pat Beverly to you

  3. People hate when this gets brought up but Murray killed the Clippers in the bubble and Pat Bev was limited by a knee injury in the bubble. Haters love to say that the Clips were “fully healthy” in the bubble but they weren’t. Pat Bev was their starting point guard, he got injured at the start of the bubble, reaggravated the injury in the first round, rushed back to play the second round but was ineffective.

Doesn’t change the fact that they choked. A choke is a choke regardless of injury status. But the notion that the team was “fully healthy” is a lie.

I don’t take anything Pat Bev says seriously lol

Pat Bev is many things, humble is not one of them.

We need this guy to go deep in a playoff series…will it be this year??

  7. I don’t think Jamal Murray has been fully healthy since October. He almost sat out this game.

  8. I hope Murray sees this and it ignites him. His conditioning hasn’t been good, and it cost them in the 4th quarter of the sixers game.

Nuggets fans real lucky that this man’s in the east, better hope you don’t face him in the finals. He’ll lock murray and jokic up at the same time.

Did anyone tell Pat he’s on the last year of the previous 4 years being his?

  12. Pat Bevs job is to irritate guys with his play and with his mouth.  He’s just doing what he’s done for years,m

  13. TheBrazilianKD

But what time did he go to sleep before matching up against Jamal?

  14. Hey you gotta give it to him he’s committed to the bit

Murray is a 5-point star just like Booker, Curry and Luka are 6-point stars.

“Stephen A says dumb thing loudly”

    “Perk says dumb thing”

“Mad Dog says remarkably dumb thing”

r/nba when refs give techs for taunting/trashtalking in game: weak ass refs, ruining the game!!!

r/nba when player trash talks/taunts pre/post game: how dare he!! what a clown!!

Imagine if Pat Bev was actually good or great. He would be insufferable

  21. Savahoodie

Reminder pat bev was on the Clippers team in the bubble, which was infamous for talking shit about Denver before getting their shit pushed in embarrassing fashion.

  22. somedudeinlosangeles

LOL. Good for him. Nuggets fans and Woody Paige sincerely triggered.

  23. Pat Bev is exactly who the 76ers need — that PJ Tucker type asshole who is willing to get in the foxhole. This is also why the Thunder as constructed can’t do shit in the playoffs this year. They’re just a bunch of kids. Speaking of PJ Tucker, the Thunder need to get him from the Clippers bench.

Didn’t Jamal cook his ass so much during the bubble wcsf that he tried to injure him as the game was ending? Lol

  25. Uh..

Didn’t Jamal eliminate the Clippers in the playoffs when Pat Bev was on the team lmao? Coming back from down 3-1 nonetheless? 40 points in game 7?

Probably should’ve tried to lock his ass down in the most important playoff game of your career instead of a regular season game in january.

  26. brolybackshots

FYI, Jamal absolutely and unequivocally DUMPSTERED Pat Bev and the Clippers in the 2020 NBA playoffs.

  27. PBev is really smart in the way he talks trash to build up his brand. Overall low talent guy and still managed to get 80 million dollars in career earnings.

Very similar to Dillon Brooks, feuds with players far bigger than them to get media attention.

Pat Bev lives rent free in some of y’all’s mind
