It hurts to give up a lotto player for nothing but I don’t think the news this am about Karlo potentially joining the team in feb is coincidence hopefully karlo can come in and pick it up quickly guy has an intriguing skill set

For the hits (Herb/Trey) in the draft (jury still out on Dyson, Hawk appears to be a keeper), Griffin went through quite the spell here with Jax, Naw and Kira. Surely you cannot sign everyone, but these 3 remind me of the Cedric Simmons/Julian Wright/Hilton Armstrong era.

Getting this done now it’s a good job by Griffin because teams knew that the Pels HAD to trade Kira to avoid the tax. Things could have been messy in February. Now, you dont have to worry about that. Also, Kira was probably the worst player in the roster this season (not counting Seabron and Liddell who barely played). So its not like you are losing something productive

The drafting of Lewis after COVID killed our chances at getting into playoffs, but pushing to make them improved our record enough to drop our projected draft lottery chances by ~4-5 spots and therefore missing out on the PG that Griffin preferred in Haliburton STILL fucking hurts.
