WE DIDN’T LOSE TO THE PISTONS

Our bigs were dominant. Rudy inside and KAT outside, 5/5 from 3!! Love that he’s shooting more but he can still up those attempts.

McDaniels was also great on offense. When he can be a legit scoring option like tonight our offense looks so much more dynamic.

    Was it pretty, no.

Is it a bit embarrassing to give up 117 to maybe the worst team in NBA history without their best player, yes.

But I won’t complain one bit about a road win in the NBA. Another mature performance, winning fairly comfortably even though we didn’t play great

Win is a win. Remember the Pistons are scrappy AF and have hung with a lot of good teams.

  4. Ugly ass game but happy to get out of there with the win. Playing the Pistons has been a horror show recently.

Good game. Lots of cool highlights. Pointing at Jaden for the 0 fouls, that’s awesome. Team gets a win when we should. Move on to the next one. Let’s go!!

  6. KATSbodylanguage

Game thread in full panic mode when our 22 year old superstar that put up 27-8-5 is still figuring out how to close games (spoiler alert: it’s gonna take a few years, not games)

  7. Uptownbro20

Trap game that we won all while jaden is finding his grove

  8. FlyingScissor

A win is a win. Play better defense tomorrow

Seeing their arena almost empty makes me more appreciative of the team we have this year. It wasn’t that long ago when our team was bottom of the league playing in front of sparse crowds

    Mike Good.

    Rudy Good.

    KAT Good.

    Jaden Good.

    NAW Good.

    Reid Good.

    ANT 1st half Good.

    ANT 2nd half… No comment.

Out of all the wins, this is definitely one of them.

Detroit seriously played very well though. NBA players get hot. Shooting 15/30 on 3 and only winning by 7 against a 4 win team is kinda weird. They understand our weakness which is transition D and they did a good job of pushing it and not letting us set up in our half-court D. Kudos Detroit.

A win is a win. Pistons should win some games the second half of the year.

Conley +20?! McDaniels 23 points?! KAT 5-5 from the arc?! Gobert 16 rebounds?! I don’t really care that it wasn’t pretty. A lot of good basketball, regardless.

That was definitely a Timberwolves game.

I watched this game too many times from the Pistons perspective as a Wolves fan.

Great shooting to start, more accomplished team takes the lead back and extends it. Every time we make a push the seasoned team just pushes it back.

Jaden slowly finding his offensive game is the best part of the last few games. Let’s not speak of the rest of this game please.

It was a more comfortable win than it looks like to be honest, after the first quarter I never really had the impression the Pistons could win this. First quarter was so and so, poor defense, but even when we did bother showing up in our half, they ended up scoring very contested jumpshots. From the second quarter onwards we played better and looked in control at all times. Not super pretty but hey, a win’s a win.
