Jason Kelce’s legendary career with the Eagles
Jason Kelsey stole the show at the biggest party. This city has ever seen Jason speech at the Eagles Super Bowl championship parade was in a word Unforgettable. Jason killed a judge. His journey from a sixth round draft pick to Philly folk hero
Is the stuff of Legends. He was an afterthought in the 2011 Draft Jason opened eyes during training camp and won the starting center job as a rookie. It was a job. He would hold onto for 13 years. He started in all 193 games. He appeared in as an eagle
Including a franchise-record 150. Six consecutive starts to finish his career. He played through countless injuries, including an elbow injury. So severe he often blocked with one arm taste. The just wasn’t tough. He was great. He earned Seven Pro Bowl selections and was a six-time first-team All-Pro.
The Pinnacle of Jason’s career, of course was the Eagles first Super Bowl championship and after they beat the Patriots 4133 the emotions it spilled out of Jason. It’s not about how hard to get hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward how much you can take
And keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. That’s been this organization. That’s been this team all year. No matter what do we think we’ve overcome no matter who’s been down. Jason was simply put the heart and soul of the His Elite play and his leadership continued as
The team endured its gradual descent from that Super Bowl victory things bottom out in 2020 with a record of 4 11 and 1 and is disappointing as that was some wondered why the coaches didn’t let some of the younger guys play as the season wound down Jason’s answer to that
Question reminded us what he is all about winning. Nothing takes precedence over trying to win a football game. I don’t care who you’re trying. To evaluate I don’t care if you’ve lost every game your own 15, and it’s the last one you got everything is about winning in this league
Jason contemplated retirement, but decided to return for the 2021 season and that marked the beginning of the Knicks. Syriana era Jason’s fourth coach with the Eagles and after a 3 and 6 start the Eagles rebounded to make the playoffs and that set the stage for the 2022 season, which
Special feel from the beginning eight straight wins to start the year a 14 and 3 record and the Eagles second NFC Championship in six years. Jason was back in the Super Bowl this time facing his younger brother Travis and the Chiefs the Kelsey’s made history as the first
Brothers to play against each other in a Super Bowl. They were the biggest story of the week. But ultimately, Jason’s Eagles came up short against Travis’s teeths Jason once again put off retirement to return for the 2023 season. It was a season that began with great promise
A ten-in-one start, but it ended with a historic collapse the Eagles lost five of their last six regular-season games followed by a first-round playoff loss to the box and you see Jason was emotional towards the end of the loss in Tampa realizing it. Pause the final game of his legendary career.
Oh God is not today. I’m sorry. He was unflinching in his desire to win and his desire to be great. Jason Kelsey ends his Eagles career as one of the best centers in NFL history a future Hall of Famer Super Bowl champion a Super Bowl Parade Legend and above all else
A winner. He gave all he had to his teammates his organization and this city.
John Clark looks back on Jason Kelce’s legendary career as he prepares end his 13 season career with Eagles.

Will be sorely missed…live on Legend Jason Kelce!
It’s sad the last tush push he experienced was the Bucs pushing in his stool!
Champion love
He quit on us knowing we need him I can't respect that
Yall do know that he didn't come out and announce his retirement tho right
I want to wear a mummer's outfit at his HOF induction. Still the best in the league. Damn shame Nick's coaching ruined his final season.
Now he can finally do podcasts and sing christmas songs while at his mansion..What a humble guy.😭
Just delete this post. He just said that nothing was officially announced.
The EPITOME of a Philadelphia EAGLE…thank you! Good luck with your future endeavors 😢
Why is everyone retiring my man before he does it himself?
Why is the league and everyone trying to make money off of Jason. Dude didn’t even say he was retiring😂😂😂.
Love this man ❤
Fly Eagles Fly 🦅
I stand in the shadow of greatness ! All Hail number #62 !!! I got choked up as I watched the part where Jason on the bike with his Mummers outfit on !! FANTASTIC Memories of the parade !!
Next stop HOF !! We LOVE you Kelce !!
Ya pooched that one Clark.
If he does officially retire he will be greatly missed, definitely a first ballot hall of famer
take this down if you respect him, js
Are y’all trying to force him into retirement? He literally said he hasn’t made a decision yet.
Legendary and will be sorely missed
If this really is the end of his career, I feel so bad for him. We lost the Super Bowl by 3 points last season and then looked like dogshit the last 6 games of this year just to get embarrassed in the playoffs.
