Hes getting Mitchell to play WITH the team. This is a little bit incredible.

If we continue this for the rest of the season and make some noise in the playoffs I will admit I was wrong.
To be fair to the way we have been playing and JB, it appears I was very wrong about him, and Im glad.

I was 50/50 when it came to fire JB.
The idea of what he’s saying is great. Keep the ball and players moving, be unpredictable. As long as he keeps this up even when Garland and Mobley come back, the fire JB crowd will slowly dwindle.

This motion offense completely unlocked this team but whats most important here is that the defense is still there, they are also not giving as many open 3s as they were earlier the season. I think JB is an amazing coach now, he creates good lineups, he calls good timeouts, he reacts to what is happening in the game instantly and he is getting less technical fouls. Experience matters, he is 44 years old only.

My concern is that we’ve had stretches where we are a movement team, but they all have come when at least one of our core 4 is out. We looked great for a stretch when Donovan was out earlier in the season. And now look great when DG is out.
Can we do this when they both play?

It’s because we only have one of our small, ball-dominant guards. That lineup composition just doesn’t work.
