Three three as a team uh you know three more than this team had had ever hidden in a game just what was uh working for you offensively you feel like uh just find an open shot um of course we got three snipers out there with CJ uh HW and Trey they do

This every single night but you know there was just in Rhythm T night you just kept finding something you said a few weeks ago is like me and Z the biggest thing I know is and we need we need space out there was tonight kind of

An example of that yeah um it felt like it was uh a little more a little bit more Freer um but you know I I also thought that it was a lot more space on that three-point line too to just to pick up Point um and I know the way that

They played me previously in Charlotte that it was going to be um some shots around the three-point line today so I thought it was good I thought um I still thought they kind of packed it in on Z today um they know how much of a threat

He is and his gravity definitely showed today when he was at the top of the key was just kind of boxes and elbows so we got to help him out a little bit there but um I thought it was a little better uh coming in tonight your your numbers

Are down a little bit over the past six or seven games was that kind of the motivation behind tonight’s performance um yeah I mean just playing a little bit free taking what the defense gave me um tried to not go into many ball screens tonight and get the old team and also

Just continue to keep Sho not worrying about the the previous shot you know um I I don’t miss a lot of shots so when I start to miss shots I’m thrown off a little bit but also um I got to have um short memory shortterm memory continue

To keep shooting that’s what I try to do toight Bren did you know that you first seven shots you made tonight were from three-point range I did know that I did I did actually how aware were how aware do you think the guys were when you were

Within uh one assist of a triple double everyone told me everyone was um I was just telling everybody to shoot every time I got the ball um all I actually told her if he was going to be open under in the rim before he got blocked but you know everything came everything

Came through Trey made that big one at the end and it just happened for and uh you mentioned getting double A Lot in pick and roll situations that been big just trying to find other ways to get you the ball knowing teams are trapping you in pick and roll situations yeah

Just trying to find ways to be effective I know that uh for us to be a really really good team I got to be effective and aggressive every single night so uh just find a way to throw the defense off uh maybe it’s moving without the basketball maybe it’s rebounding the

Basketball the pushing whatever it is just trying to find a way that I can I can be effective so it helps everybody else and brand right before the game tip news became official that Kye got traded have you had a chance to talk to him and do you have any thoughts about him

Moving on I actually didn’t know until Willie came here and told us um cuz I I just don’t I’m not on the internet that much but um you know um I haven’t had a chance to talk to him either but I I’ll reach out to him either tonight or tomorrow but you know

Knock down a couple or shoot a couple threes then I can do whatever I want to do but just making sure that I’m U making that a part of my game the pels 4 and0 when the team shoots 43s in a game um how much is that like you know kind

Of a thought process for you you got to be more aggressive especially from three-point line um I mean that’s a cool stat um the three going is cool but I had many nights where I’ve scored 30 or 40 off mid-range also so whatever whatever is um whatever is needed I do

It but I I’m going continue to shoot that three ball shoot and he had a moment late where uh he had the defense against lamelo in the corner what was it like just seeing that and seeing the reaction from the crowd uh but you know

Z take pride when Z takes pride in in in moments like that I’ve seen that before when um when guys called him out and um guys dribbling for 5 seconds 10 seconds and trying to make a move on them at certain points so Z takes pride in and

It’s good good to see you know when you we got one of our best players out guarding one of their Prime Time Players and uh getting a stop and go on the other end and we try to convert a basket so that’s good to see how impressive is

What Hawk is doing I mean this this early in his career just to have the confidence that he already has uh it’s really impressive just his mindset just how he comes in to stay ready like I said that’s that’s professional just being ready every time you stepping in no

Matter if he’s making shots and missing shots most of the time he’s making shot um his confidence never wavers and um that’s something that we need something that that we that we cherish um in every game that we have and we know who we can
