Charles Barkley CALLS OUT Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen & Rodman After Jerry Krause Widow Cried!

Charles Barkley CALLS OUT Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen & Rodman After Jerry Krause Widow Cried!

Welcome back to NBA Cinema So today we’re going to speak more about this Jerry Krauss thing and Charles Barkley actually calling out Scotty Pippin Dennis robman and Michael Jordan for not attending the ceremony as we all saw his widow you know grieved you know over both her husband and the fact that the

Chicago fan base still feels as strongly against him as they did you know back in the ’90s and um you know she was there to receive his reward at the Ring of honor and you can see Ron Harper standing behind her consoling her and a lot of things came out in the media

Where people were saying Jordan ISM Without Blame especially with the way they portrayed Krauss in the last dance and you know Scotti pipp and the way him and Krauss would go there in the newspapers the way that Krauss wanted Phil Jackson out the fact that he wasn’t

Going to bring Phil Jackson back was why Michael Jordan wasn’t going to come back cuz Jordan wasn’t going to play for anyone other than Phil so everybody was like why don’t you just bring Phil back so we can make sure we bring Michael Jordan back but it didn’t happen so the

Bulls went out on top lockout season like I said they definitely could have won that um you know they would have had a chance to win that bar injury and um you know Barkley he he had a little bit to say about it and he and he called out

The fan base let’s check out what he had to say I want I want to be very careful here cuz you know Chicago I love that City but what happened in Chicago the other night was a disgrace it was a flat out disc the booing of Jerry Krauss the late Jerry

Krauss the booing having that that his wife cry like that that was wrong on so many levels Michael and Scotty and Dennis not showing up that was wrong it was a complete disgrace to the Legacy of the Chicago Bulls they a they’ve always been a great great

Organization but to to for that thing to go down like not to have the greatest player in your organization there and won six championships and Dennis and Scotty and first of all they I don’t even know why you would put a 100 guys in the Ring of Honor anyway that’s just

Stupid but what those fans did to Mrs Krauss that was not cool and we as we they ow that lady everybody involved that ow that lady an apology whether you like Jared Krauss or not that Man’s dead rest in peace his wife is there and y’all made that lady cry and that was

Total BS wife kids grandkids that was wrong man to have that lady crying like that that hurt my heart watching that thing was it was painful and and that’s not an indictment of all Chicago fans by any means but those whoot chose to go that way yeah I’m with you and thanks

For bringing that up krauss’s record has not prevented a bitter Feud with the Chicago media not surprising given his secrecy aloofness and Grading personality krauss’s ongoing sour relationships with bull Stars Jordan and Pippen Jordan over power and control Pippen about feelings and finances are more strain this has

Made Krauss a pariah in his own home precincts if you loved Michael Jordan it almost as though you had to hate Jerry Krauss it doesn’t affect me now did it then somewhat because obviously there’s there are there’s no there’s nobody in the world who doesn’t take pride in what

He does and and I I’m proud I have four world championship rings and not many people in this in history of this game can ever say that Bulls championships however are hardly credited to Krauss but to the brilliant Jordan and to Jackson whether krauss’s relationship with Jordan is repaired Jordan won’t say

Michael’s changed uh we all do uh and and I think uh he understands now that we we think we know what we have to do to build this team and and and to keep it going right now our object is to go out and play the game of basketball his

His responsibility is to try to perform and prepare us for the future and we can never take that away from him that’s his responsibility that’s Jerry rin’s responsibility krauss’s more pressing concern is Jackson Jordan says if Jackson doesn’t return next year neither will he Jerry started the negotiations

Last year with me which was you know I told him a mistake because he shouldn’t get involved general managers don’t get paid when coaches get paid it’s difficult for that type of thing to go on and but because I had an agent and this organization particularly doesn’t like agents working with coaches uh

Jerry was forced into that role as an agent for the owner all of Chicago May slump into deep mourning when Jordan ultimately exits stage Skyhigh but Krauss is itching for a chance to prove himself once again again to come full circle from the ridicule to the sublime I seem to remember some

Comments when Michael retired uh from from Jerry that he said that his his dream is to win a championship without Michael and so obviously there’s a sort of a personal Challenge and Michael himself has said well you’re really looking forward to uh to to being without me and and trying to win without

Me and I’ve said Michael that’s my job when when you leave I just can’t die and roll over and leave I’ve got to try and win when you’re gone that little piece there was for those that’s younger that may didn’t live through the Bulls era and know exactly what’s going on a lot

Of this that’s going on now just a refresher for some of us that was around back then but when you look at it uh you a lot of times when you have such an iconic star like Michael Jordan who’s still a icon to this day you know his

Tennis shoes everything that he’s done he’s still in all the goat debates still widely regarded as the top guy even though LeBron is the right now guy and he has earned his way into that conversation a lot of people still view Michael Jordan as the goat um and and so

When you have that type of profile and people wanted to see what else you could do see if you could win at the highest level one more time and Jordan still regrets you know just how that whole thing played out wishing you know they they didn’t have to go out like

That I mean obviously he played with the Wizards again but um I don’t think he ever puts on a Wizards Jersey if they allow them to go out the right way in Chicago you go out on top you know it’s still kind of playing with

Your mind a little bit um you look at Scotti Pippen you know he Scotti Pi was out a lot of those games to start that season because he wanted his contract to be done correctly but Steve Kerr said you know his uh cr’s dream was to win

One without MJ and on one hand that is a general manager’s job right you do supposed to win or or aspire to win after your current stars are gone that’s why the Lakers have been so successful you have the stars of yesterday and you have the stars of tomorrow that’s just

How it works and you build championship teams around them um the Celtics has been able to do that um but it it’s a bit difficult to do and you don’t want to rush someone like Michael Jordan out the door because that is the top player you know arguably to most people to a

Lot of people you know that is the top player so replacing the top player in his great teams don’t be so quick to get rid of that especially after you win a title at least allow them to lose before you start disbanding them now I know they said they all went into a

Meeting and it was Jerry Krauss Jerry Ryan dorfs the team doctors and they went down each player’s body and how it will hold up they said Luke Lon ley’s ankles was goingon to give out uh really quick Scotti Pippen’s back wasn’t in a good position he waited

For his surgery too long uh also I mean they didn’t say anything about Mike per se but they were talking about a lot of players on the roster they felt like oh yeah that was another one they felt like Dennis robman uh hard living his over hard in

You know just staying up through the night going on the court and grabbing 21 rebounds they felt like that has started to catch up with him and he was running on fumes you know against uh Carl Malone in that last championship so um they they felt like a lot of the players

Weren’t going to be able to hold up in the future so when you look at it like that um you know if if that was the way he was speaking back then um people would have people would have really rocked with that but or I don’t even know if

They would have rocked with that don’t let me say that but they would have at least understood a little more but it seems like from the outside looking in it was just a power struggle with Phil and MJ where you see this with a lot of great teams you see the power struggle

With Tom Brady uh bill bich at a certain point when you start winning at a high level there is power struggle you know Kobe and Shaq even though those are two players you see that and then you see management having to choose one you know so you anytime you have a

Dynasty name me a time in modern sports where there isn’t some sort of power struggle um amongst the Players management and ownership in some way shape or form now do they stay together sometimes yeah sometimes they get through it but there is going to be some kind of power struggle at some point

With that it’s all I want to say man let me know what you think in the comments though don’t forget to like share and subscribe to next time peace

  1. Management should have gotten the word to see who was going to be there. Reinsdorf didn't want to pay them for their worth.

  2. Jordan is, was and will always be a Primadonna!
How many people can go around caling their boss "Crumbs?!"
Yep, where is that in your reporting, dawg!?
Jordan gave Jerry Krause that nickname because of his weight, his clothing choices and he said food crumbs were always on his clothes!
Mama said, "What goes 'round comes right 'round!"
Guess MJ saw how tough it was to put in a winning roster as a GM/Owner!
So he decided to cash in his chips and Sell Out!
    #petty

  3. “Jerry Krause was forced as an agent for the owner ( Jerry Reinsdorf ) bc I (Phil Jackson) had an agent”. Words from Phil Jackson explains why the dynasty ending was Jerry Reinsdorf’s fault 💯 bc he was cheap & didn’t wanna pay Phil Jackson more

  4. Funny how folks forgive Michael for being an a-hole because of his success on the court but not Jerry for being an a-hole with success off the court. Fact is, Bulls needed a hard-nosed SOB in that role to make it work with all those egos.
And just like Jerry never won without Michael on the court, Michael has never won in Jerry's role since he left the court. In fact, he has failed in that role spectacularly. He, above all should be able to look back and appreciate who Jerry was and what he did even if he doesn't like some of the ways he went about it. Newsflash, Michael, not everybody liked the way you went about things, but the results speak for themselves.
Sure, it would've been nice for things to've resolved differently, but Chicago should appreciate the greatness they had and a big part of that was someone with the vision to put it together, and that someone was Jerry.

  5. Michael Jordan doesn't owe Chicago anything else. He left it all on the floor for that city and that organization. You have six rings where before you had how many?

  6. Krause was selfish. He wanted to win without MJ but the problem is he pushed MJ out. This is the chickens coming home to roost

  7. Lets not forget that every trade Krause made for Rodman or Kucoc, Jordan hated but look who ended up helping win championships

  8. Charles was on record saying this was a terrible time for this and that it wasn't going to go well. As far as Mrs. Krause, I do feel sorry for her, but it's the disgrace was the complete lack of foresight be her handlers. They had to know Jerry wouldn't be received well, in life or in death.

  9. The city is hurt because they could of won championships for many many many years but Jerry killed it and them not paying Scottie more money was foolish. Jordan is still the goat so how can you not try and keep a championship team together and you only have to keep the coach, pay Scottie and treat your team like their champions who won 6 rings in a row. You got to be a fool or selfish to let it crash and burn. And it was the team winning and not Krause because after that team they never won again. Smh

  10. I can see Reinsdorf taking Jordan for granted. He saw that Magic and Bird changed their teams instantly! Jordan was not even the 1st or 2nd best player on his college team. In the NBA He was much more like a Ja Morant or Dominique Wilkins, points and dunks but no rings or even conference appearances until Krause gave him Scottie and, after selling a billion shoes, in ‘91 David Stern developed rules to take big men out of the lane and to make defenders have to stay with there man no matter how bad they shoot ie ( Purdue, Rodman). With all of this, Jordan still didn’t win until Bird, and Dr J were old and he cried the Pistons out of the league then took their players.

  11. Them guys didn't have to be there that's there choice,no one can tell them to go somewhere they may have there reasons.people always trying to tell others what they need to do.

  12. Krauss was a boss. It would be a bad look if he bows down to jordan when he has control if aging mj should leave or not. In the end, he let michael decide. If he leaves, they'll move on. Just like any company-employee relationship. That's respect wether they had bad blood or not.

  13. They all put on a good show, but at the end of the day, the murder of James Jordan, Michael's retirement in 1993, and his 2nd retirement in 1998, were almost certainly tied to the mob. The love of money is the root of all evil. It's about the betting. Michael wasn't just going to quit. It's not in him. He had to be persuaded. Who was really going to bet against the Bulls ? They were losing money. It's not just this scenario. Almost everything you see and "know", is an alternate reality fraught with smoke and mirrors, painted for you by the elites who pull the strings of the earth..

  14. They hated Krause, he was known to be what he was. Scottie apparently or allegedly got burned by him, Phil too. They all had bad blood. If she cried thats sad but nobody died. Chuck can stfu n stay out of people’s business and leave their names out of it. He’s more than welcome to brown nose his way over there n console everybody…

  15. They had to know the fans would never forget. Fans pay the bills and to disrespect the fan base by breaking up the team… Lucky they still have any at all.

  16. I saw that video of his wife crying..it's freaking terrible, it broke my heart watching it as well,I agree with Charles and appreciate him and respect his take

  17. Why is anybody shocked that he got booed? People know what happened, people don't forget. So why do you think he's gonna be celebrated now because he died? Nobody cares about that. Should have never broke up the team

  18. None of these so called goat 🐐 would of won anything in the 1980s as far as an NBA championship finals history Ring bottom line period

  19. There's no disgrace to the legacy. Jerry Krause did that city foul. Fan is short for fanatic. Jordan and many players didn't like that penguin looking mofo. This is on Krause more than anything. When he had power he abused it…all actions have consequences…and as bad as this was…is what it is.

  20. Chicago fans praise Jordan so much yet he don't even have the time of day to show up for the ceremony..man Miss me with all that

  21. Born and raised in Chicago. Growing up during the entire bulls dynasty.

Bro, how Jerry was portrayed is exactly how it was during those years. Folks around the world is so new to this, but we lived this before social media ever existed.

Now the disrespect wasn’t called for. But no one can tell a Chicago Fan of any sport team, how to respond. Chicago doesn’t care about emotions. 🤷🏾‍♂️
