Yeah we need a backup big but we got AD. Priority should be wing/guard imo, we have zero two way players at those positions and even then they are streaky/injured. No use in building a roster to gameplan for Jokic when we cant get there

Joker is now 2 times the player he was in 2020 and now has a very hefty tall help.

Why don’t we sign biyombo ? Just for some foul insurance against Jokic.
I guess Hayes could be used for that too.

I know we got swept and all that, but statistically, the Lakers held Jokic to his worst FG% in their playoff series. He had one game where he shot like 70% and then after that, it was 3 straight under 50% FG games from him. Jamal Murray killed us in that series.

In 2020, Jokic hadn’t taken that next leap yet. The 3 or 4 bigs would help us a little bit but Jokic has more help than in 2020. The key to beating Denver (which we were really close to doing despite the sweep) is consistent production from our role players and for AD and LeBron to step up in the post season. We lost in the WCF by G1: 6 points, G2: 5 points, G3: 11 points and G4: 2 points. Each Denver starter plus their 6th man averaged double digits. Only 4 of our starters averaged double.

The Nuggets getting Gordon was the most important nba move of the last few years. Completely unlocked Jokic where teams could no longer double him. Gordon plays perfectly next to him as well. Such a great signing that never gets discussed because Gordon was somewhat cast off/forgotten

Talented, bruising, GOOD centers don’t just grow on trees. Teams rarely give them up for cheap

I agree but there really is no one available.

Yea I think Hayes is a few more journeys and like 30 pounds of muscle before he is the Tyson Chandler type we need.

Dwight was the only one that could guard him. he bullied him. When AD hit that game winner and was guarding Jokic in the 4th he got whatever he wanted. Mcgee barely played if i remember correctly

Nick Richards would be perfect and I think he’s relatively attainable. He can catch lobs, block shots, fast and can do some of the dirty work.

Ham needs to start AD/Wood together move him back to the 4. It would help tremendously imo. Get a big like Nick Richards to man the middle otb it would be a much nicer fit.

Fans need to get over 2020.
