Zach Lowe always seemed like the type to think a regular season win in January means we’re going to the finals, reactionary as fuck lol

morey’s brain does not work like that

although i guess it depends what the hell “big” means to zach, but there’s no single regular season game influencing anything over here

Yes we do!! The games without Joel already proved that.

I’m of two minds about this. On the one hand, I think we need another piece. Not a superstar, but a solid two-way #3 to slot in as our shooting guard and push Melton to the bench. I think this because of my subjective evaluation of our team and its players, but I’m sure there’s some PTSD from years part in there too.

On the other hand, the objective results at least suggest that maybe we don’t need to make a big trade. When Joel plays, we look like a contender. The numbers bear that out, I think.

So what do we do? If a clear upgrade presents itself, I would make the trade. But wouldn’t stretch for a deal. I’m out on Lavine for that reason, and skeptical of Murray for the same. If we could get Mikal or Lauri we should do it, but I don’t think we can, and my guess is we make smaller role player upgrades and ride with this team as is.

Don’t need a big name star but would love to get another play making guard/ shooter and a big man.

Our depth is our strength allow us to put players on the floor to counter/ match up with anyone.

    Yes. Yes we do.

We are straight ass without Embiid.

We are the 2012 Sixers with Jrue or Iggy injured.
