Halberton was recruiting him and just kind of hyping him up in terms of joining the Indiana Pacers see why it be a long-term fit and all these types of things and the Pacers are also willing to give him that sort of longer term money that the Toronto Raptors were not

Team ended up trading him to so the Pacers knew they used this as leverage they knew that hey we can offer up some stuff you know the three first round picks and Bruce Brown in these types of pieces but also not have to give up any crazy young assets because you know if

He goes away we’ll sign him in the offseason and we don’t have to tank our future and things like that so that’s the Pacers kind of approach and we also had some Revelations as to why the Pacers were a team that he want to go to

And it probably gives some context as to why the Raptors for so long were trying to acquire Miles Turner and all the trade rumors that were going down is basically you know this coming from Evan C dirty that uh during all those years in Toronto cakin would tell people close
