The seventh best defensive team in the league they cause you a lot of problems they force us six turnovers in the first quarter we finally quelled that by the night was over I think we only finished with 14 turnovers or 15 turnovers at the

End of the night so we got it you know cut that in half the rest of the way so offensively to me this is a really like auring point of view that the Jazz offense which has been a juggernaut recently the highest scoring offense in

And and they were just able to score and score and score off of that in that first quarter but as you mentioned they did cut in on that did slow slowed it down to the point but then the three-point shots start falling I mean let’s be frank Oklahoma City just had an

Or five ball games or the six game winning streak and so it it worked for it worked for a thunder hit tonight all right what let’s talk about the Jazz offense 129 points against good defense what impressed you the most about the Jazz offense tonight I just I didn’t

Think they had a problem scoring scoring against this team I I I thought that that uh Colin seon is is a beast and he can break you down uh the only thing that they had to worry about defense offensively was the defense of of hram

You know he was going to be coming from the weak side so the the the Jazz Cutters should have been there or the the corner three or something like that but but I think offensively very impressed with what the H Jan scored but you know just you know what can you say

About a team that has so much weapons offensively Colin goes for 30 in back-to-back nights but I thought that was seven assists I thought that was as good a passing night as I’ve seen from Colin he’s really made a pass inside to Jun Collins hit a corner three shot he

He made some plays he just didn’t Ed to make okay let’s look at that I mean because Colin is is really turned into a guy that’s you know he’s getting more assists game uh and at first part of the Season uh some of his assists came out

Of desperation some of his assists came out of um um not because he was setting a teammate up in order to get an assist but because he had no other place to go but you know that type of thing if you understand what I mean now it’s it’s a little bit

Different at times col was hard to watch early in the year like he was you felt like his moves were pre-ordained not reading anything he had just shot twice some a pass this time or I need to hit Kessler on a lob so I’ll throw a lob and

It’s intercepted yeah because it wasn’t actually the right read he’s reading the game right now he’s making you know will hardy talks a lot about what did the game give to you on that play he’s giving he’s taking what the game’s giving him it’s a monster step in his

Development so and if if we go by what he’s telling us or we go by what will is telling us I think they coexist because what he’s telling us is he’s watching a lot of film and he’s watching a lot of players uh knowing the weaknesses and

Strong points and and the the drill that he has with the goggles or whatever you call yeah that type of thing is it starting to work you know that type of thing or you know will put him in in a position where you can can make those reads I

Mean I think they they coexist because of what he’s doing and the position that Will’s putting him in I thought it was hard to score and the Jazz scored does that make sense like Lowry was work like putting him Lowry we played Lowry with some post plays on K Wallace and

Catching at the free throw line and isoing him in a way that we haven’t done with him an awful lot I thought it was hard to score on a lot of those plays they were top blocking they were disruptive they you know they’re in the

P and yet the Jazz were able to score which I think is really encouraging I’m there are better defensive teams out there Boston predominantly Minnesota but I I don’t think we’re going to see a lot of defenses that kind of wreck as much Havoc to your Rhythm and for the Jazz to

Be able to score against that’s really good sign you just touched on something I think is very very important because when a team’s defense is strong and good and you react to it and you and you still are able to make plays um you know there are some defenses that just make

You look spectacular because it’s just not that good and and the reads are easy to make but when the reads are harder to make and you still show up then there’s a big difference there maybe that’s what the Jazz are going through right now best team we’ve seen all year I assume

Is Boston yes uh this was what this has to be right there in the top three or four and have to go back and start thinking about some of the other teams that we’ve played that but I think late here in in say in the last two months or

Maybe even a month and a half this is this might be the second best team that we played now again we saw Philadelphia without embiid we saw Milwaukee without Dame Denver we beat here but Denver there smash’s pretty good Denver’s pretty good yeah um so it’ll be

Response to that if they if we as good as what people think we are and we were able to lose to those teams without their star player then what does that say to us right so we able to beat him so that’s and frankly I don’t think

Anyone should be thinking the Utah Jaz should be able to be Philadelphia Milwaukee at full strength there you go right or Boston full strength those without the star player should we be losing to him well we we showed we could beat him which I I’m not sure we

Actually knew right um you know Oklahoma City’s Bonafide close to championship team we you know I’m not sure that that’s a team that that we’re ready to go take you know in a seven game series you’d hope you get a game so you’d hope you beat them at home every now and then

But um all right uh stars tonight Colin seon by the way that dunk in late was something else I mean Shay hit a shot that blows your mind and then Colin answered quickly the other way with an immediate dunk it was unbelievable so that Colin’s got to get a star tonight

Yeah I don’t think there’s any doubt Colin is the star I don’t know if and Markin has had so many stars this year you you hate to continue to give them to him but what else can you do you know where else can you go Walker was

Plus 15 guesser so that would be a possibility yeah um though you know frankly not to like it’s a big issue the free throw shooting thing is a real issue like they in a ma very major possession that swung the game Mark dagnell hacked Walker on purpose really

Big deal 10 rebounds so yeah Lowry markon Colin Saxon and yes that challenge was the weirdest thing ever on a jump ball Mark dagnal challenged thinking it was off the Jazz they ruled it was off the Thunder but because they overruled the call on the floor the challenge was deemed successful even

Though it wasn’t the outcome that Mark dagnal wanted so they actually got their timeout back and it was deemed and a-c challenge even though he didn’t get the outcome he wanted is really bizarre but it went to Jazz way they couldn’t convert on it and the ball game ends

The Utah Jazz fought back from 19 down and had 4 chances to take the lead in the 4th quarter but were unable to get over the hump.
