Know the Raptors using a pick regardless of like you know what a player he could have been for the team I just hope Christen Koko can get healthy can get better and develop into a develop a professional a successful professional career cuz you have to remember guys
Like he’s a talented player these sort of players as well a lot of upside I agree even if it doesn’t necessarily work out in the NBA there is a path to professional basketball elsewhere like we look at Bruno kaboko one of the most infamous draft picks in Toronto Raptor
History kaboko has carved out an extraordinarily successful basketball career in the professional state it hasn’t been in the NBA but here’s a guy who was I think it was MVP and finals MVP playing in Brazil uh I think last season he won the German basketball league um so he’s had success at the
Feea level as well and an international level just because it doesn’t necessarily work out in the NBA doesn’t mean you can’t have a professional career and a successful one in that and I feel as though Koka was on the way to having a successful NBA career and um
Unfortunately he may be robbed of the opportunity to execute that um you know I um personally have uh never experience anything of the sort I’ve had like hints at that this that that could be the case and that was a very difficult conversation to hear from a doctor that
There’s potential you have something that will not allow you to play competitive Sports for the rest of your life the fact that he’s actually facing it uh I I can’t even imagine so absolutely prayers go out to him and just hope everything can get right and I’m sure the Raptors uh given this
Information now we know I’m sure they had they went through an incredibly difficult decision to have to wave the player a player that they love and a player that they believe in um you know sometimes Messiah jiri to a fault loves his guys loves his team but genuinely he

Going to be that ball handling and if he can get that he is going to be a phenomenal player he’s already is an even more phenomenal player defensively I like Scotty Barnes but I think that Darko sometimes uses him incorrectly when he’s on the perimeter he has some difficulties especially navigating
Screens and also dealing with shiftier players but on the inside he’s a rebound machine he is a excellent help Defender start to use him in those more productive areas defensively and we’ll get that extra bit out of him and I think we’ll save him a little bit more

This season now is in tank mode. They aren’t good enough to get into the playoffs. The rest of this season should be about losing and getting a higher pick in this year’s draft.
