Yall are silly, I’m not a herro stan nor hater and I like Duncan slightly more BUT Herro is essentially an overzealous better dribbling Duncan. So won’t make a difference, we need Rozier/Murray to make our backcourt more dynamic. Herro’s balls (pause) has saved us and will save us yet again multiple times in the future when we’re cold offensively and need a big shot down the stretch.

How many of those games did herro start, and there was no jimmy/ Bam? How many games off the bench were from the 22 season we got the 1 seed?
He started 33 games from 19 to 22. What if he was 0-33 in those games because he started meant we were the skeleton heat. And since then, has a high winning record?
Dude is a 6th man of the year, averages 20ppg as a starter and has been in the league 5 yrs.

I’ve been on this wagon for at least a year now. Idk why making Herro the most impactful version of himself and the Heat the best version of themselves is a bad thing. Not everyone is Lebron, Wade, Jordan, etc. at the end of his career, nobody (who matters) is going to care if Herro was sixth man if the Heat are elite and win championships. I remember the Spurs for Duncan, Parker and Ginobli and I don’t particularly think it a diss that Manu was 6th man. The only people who fixate on this shit are career do nothings like Gilbert Arenas, but there are a ton of Arenas like folks out there.
I actually want Herro to cook and be able to get in his bag. He can do that more on the second unit than the first where he has to play third fiddle and operate more in the flow of the offense.
Idk what people don’t get about this. Duncan isn’t Herro, no. But Duncan and Bam are like Forrest and Jennay, peas and carrots. Duncan isn’t as great a sixth man as Herro and Herro isn’t as great within the flow of offense as Duncan. So let Duncan work off ball magic and his Bam PNR and let Herro cook on the second unit. It’s no disrespect, but the bag twitter folks always think “coming off bench = massive disrespect.”
