Why Is Nobody Mentioning THIS About The Pascal Siakam Trade…?

While everyone is hyped and talking about Pascal cakam coming to the Pacers there are some important things that nobody is mentioning which I believe would lead to spicy P ultimately resigning and staying in Indiana this summer when he becomes a free agent reason number one is the fit just think

About this the Pacers are the best transition team in the NBA and they traded for a top 10 player in this category this is the identity both for siakam and for Indiana they love to run up and down the court here’s shuder pushing the pace transition bucket seak

Thing is once he takes off in transition Pascal will get the ball from the league leader and assists and Tyrese halberton so you know already that this is a match made in heaven you see how Indiana’s athletic wings like Obi toppen or Isaiah Jackson have benefited from these

Beautiful passes from Tyrese so I can only imagine what it would do for a way more talented player like seaka he got into the passing Lane and once again it leads to a leak out Pascal is terrific at moving without the ball in a really good cutter which is another easy

Way that he gets a few points a night and playing on a team that’s in constant motion this is another perfect match taking a look at his shot distribution we see that the majority of his points come from the paint with great efficiency at that and the Pacers also

Generate a ton of points in the paint in fact they lead the league in this category as well sakam can hit the corner threes but above the break he’s flat out bad which is okay because there are more than enough guys who can shoot it from downtown on this Indiana roster

That ranks sixth in three-point makes and fifth in percentage that’s a killer combo so Pascal would have the freedom to pick and choose his shots to really be effective not to mention the fact that Indie got a solid Defender at the most dangerous position they have the

Fourth worst defense in the league at the moment and while sakam won’t make them the 2004 Detroit Pistons at least they now have a guy to throw at Superstar wings like Jason Tatum Paul George or KD okay so we know the fit is great but everyone on Twitter is

Questioning whether he’d like to stay in Indiana and will they give him the max that you will look for this summer and to that I say this and Indiana has that confidence Tyrese halberton uh his relationship with Pascal sakam they talked and in talking to those around

Sakam today he’s eager to talk about an ention this summer with Indiana WJ knows everything so why not listen to the guy that’s got all the plugs in the league Pascal and tyres have been talking the commitment is there and the Pacers are not going to waste assets if they’re not

Ready to pay him long term so I’m already certain that they will give him what he wants and since Indiana can offer way more money than any other team he’d be silly not to take it so this trade brings them just one move away from being a legit contender in the East

Thing is even before they made this trade the Pacers destroyed Milwaukee 4-1 in the season series so I’m already on record saying that if these two teams meet in the playoffs I’m taking Indie and now with sakam I’m going to use this opportunity to double down on my

Prediction they are going to be dangerous I made an entire video analyzing their matchups and breaking down why I’m so certain you got to check out that video right here talk to in the next one peace out

While everyone is hyped up and talking about Pascal Siakam coming to the Pacers, there are some important things that nobody is mentioning, which I believe would lead to Spicy P ultimately re-signing and staying in Indiana this summer when he becomes a free agent.
Reason number 1 is the fit.
Just think about this: The Pacers are the best transition team in the NBA and they traded for the 10th best transition player in the league.
This is the identity both for Siakam and for Indiana. They love to run up and down the court.
Thing is, once he takes off in transition, Pascal will get the ball
from the league leader in assists in Tyrese Haliburton. So you know already that this is a match made in heaven.
You see how Indiana’s athletic wings like Obi Topin or Isiah Jackson have benefited from these beautiful passes from Tyrese, so I can only imagine what it would do for a way more talented player like Siakam.
Pascal is terrific at moving without the ball, and a really good cutter, which is another easy way that he gets a few points a night. And playing on a team that’s in constant motion, this is another perfect match.
Taking a look at his shot distribution, we see that the majority of his points come from the paint with great efficiency. And the Pacers generate a ton of points in the paint. In fact they lead the league in this category as well.
Siakam can hit the corner threes, but above the break he’s bad, which is ok because there are
more than enough guys who can shoot it from downtown on this Indiana roster that ranks 6th in three point makes and 5th in percentage. That’s a killer combo. So Pascal would have the freedom to pick and choose his shots to really be effective.
Not to mention the fact that Indy got a solid defender at the most dangerous position in the league. They have the fourth worst defense in the league and while Siakam won’t make them the 2004 Detroit Pistons, at least they now have a guy to throw at superstar wings like Jayson Tatum, Paul George, or KD.
Ok so we know the fit is great, but everyone on twitter is questioning whether he’d like to stay in Indiana and will they give him the max that he will look for this summer.
To that I say this:
Why not listen to the guy that’s got all the plugs in the league. Pascal and Tyrese have been talking, the commitment is there, and the Pacers are not going to waste assets if they are not ready to pay him long term. So I am already certain that they will give him what he wants, and since Indiana can offer way more money than any other team, he’d be silly not to take it.
This brings them just 1 move away from being a legit contender in the East.
Thing is, even before the Pacers destroyed Milwaukee 4-1 in the season series. So I am already on record saying that if these 2 teams meet in the playoffs, I’m taking Indy. Now with Siakam, I’m gonna use this opportunity to double down on my prediction.
I made an entire video analyzing their matchups and breaking down why I’m so certain. You gotta check out that video right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.

  1. Finally someone that realizes this was a really good trade for the pacers. I believe it's crucial that he plays small forward. It makes our defense way better than people realize as well because as soon as we put our big line up in we've shot up in defensive rating and won most of their games since then.

  2. Pascal can be a terrific defender. Unfortunately, his effort on D has sloped downwards over the last several years. Some nights, it's just not there at all. Curb your expectations on what he'll bring to the Pacers D.

  3. No one in media wanted to talk about Raptors and its players, as soon as Pascal is traded to a non-Raptors team, everyone wants to jump in and have a big discussion.

  4. The pacers who's best player legit has never made the playoffs will beat the bucks with 4 playoff proven vets? Lmao you have to be the drunkest MF to actually believe that regardless of any regular season game you have seen. This is almost as bad as people saying OKC will win the championship.

  5. THATS why PLAY_OFF MATCHUPS count…
I would rather finish 7th and face the BUCKS in the 1st round then finishing 4th or 5th seed..
OR the best scenario is going for the 3rd seed and face BUCK in the 2nd round …

  6. I've been watching these for the last few weeks and just realized I wasn't subscribed 😂 Youtube always puts them on the home page

  7. I think JJ redick deserves credit on this video

If you dont undersstand where i am going, listen to his take made 2 days before this one.

  8. As a long time Raps fan… 1) Siakam is sorta good in transition… he's not your transitional scorer in the traditional sense where they'll leak out, beat everyone down the court for the dunk. What he is good at is quick one vs one iso post scoring where he'll spin around defender for the layup and that works best in trasition before the defense is set and where he might get doubled. it should still work with the pacers as long as the team doesn't give up when oppositing team did some initial action to stop the break and dump it to him in the post and let him do his work. 2) Pascal as a defender is okay? I mean Toronto's best defender is OG, then Scottie, and then probably him. He won't anchor the defense but he can be part of a good defensive team. I still probabaly won't put him vs Tatam in extended limit and definate not against Giannas. 3) The Raps was in a similar situation years ago when we were the alantic division champs but we got murdered in the playoffs. Winning 4 games vs an opponent is different then playing them in a 7 game series and defends and coaching plays a bigger part.

  9. Pacers with championship pedigree in Siakam, I don't know about trades but I know that this team is very dangerous now. Why did Toronto materialize this trade should be investigated 😅.

  10. Great pick up for the Pacers and to be honest Raptors got good deals in return as well so it’s win, win trade for both teams. 🤝

  11. Finally someone that realizes this was a really good trade for the pacers. I believe it's crucial that he plays small forward. It makes our defense way better than people realize as well because as soon as we put our big line up in we've shot up in defensive rating and won most of their games since then.

  12. It sounds great, looks great but doesn't mean it's going to be great. Think of Lillard going to the Bucks. It looked like they were a shoe in for the finals and potentially a chip but they have been floundering as a team. I hope for Indiana it works out but I remain skeptical until they play a least half a season together.

  13. They are definitely making the playoffs now if Hali is healthy. And if he can stay healthy they can upset someone potentially. It will be interesting when the playoffs start

  14. Click Bait. You are saying nothing new. Anyone that has been following this trade knows everything youve said in your video.

  15. Yes because we have seen how trans that run up in down during the season have the same success in playoffs. Oh wait. They don't work when the play slows down and halfcourt offense shine, when defences are much tighter, teams can do much better preparation and refs don't bail you out.
But sure, you just go and play the same way in playoffs.

  16. After siakam, the pacers needs to get big in the paint and a PF defense scorer would be great to help the pacer.

  17. Don’t bet your house against Milwaukee or you’ll be homeless.
Playoffs basketball is a different kind of ball game.
When they meet in the playoffs, it’s 0-0.
