Toronto Forever #PS43

Obviously I’ve been in trade rumors for for years you know and and I think that when when things are are happening and you’re thinking about it and sometimes you know it’s false or whatever and and I don’t know what’s going to happen but I remember Todd asked me he was like hey P what other team do you see yourself playing for with the 27th pick in the 2016 NBA draft the Toronto Raptors select Pascal from duaon and New Mexico State University um and yeah to the fans Raptor Nation um just like thank you I was um L crowny

That’s my my favorite line guy drafted to an organization a different country not just any team in the NBA and you guys embraced me from the first day you know taking me as one of your own I felt the responsibility like when I got to

The city to do good and win um because of how important it was to you guys and just to know that like you guys are supporting from the first day that I you know I put on a Raptor’s uniform and that’s something that I’ll always be like forever grateful for thank you to

Canada um as a country thank you to Toronto um as a city thank you to the Talon bombs you know Larry and Judy just thank you to just the staff and all those people that dedicated you know their lives to just helping us and making sure that everything runs

Smoothly um you guys were a great part of winning you know and creating a winning culture in Toronto I grew up here you know I grew up as a I came as a young kid um and and just continue to evolve as a man you know doing important

Things in my life I did it here and it’s something that no matter what team I go to like that all be the story like it will always be um joo’s home and um and I just I just love the Legacy that I was able to to create here and and the

People that I was able to touch going through my journey as a raptor like that was always my mindset you know like I want people to remember my name like and and I just wanted to prove not only that I belong but we belong as a team and

That was a motivation for me every single Day I just want to be remembered as someone that gave everything to the city um not only on the basketball court but also outside of it ps43 Foundation creating a platform that’s going to help the community and to me like that’s my legacy like obviously the basketball accolades and everything is important

But I just wanted to remember as someone that was a leader of the Community Helping kids continue to dream no matter where I’m at you know no matter where I play in the NBA I always want that to be remembered coming into Toronto me feeling like a part of the city I’ve

Embraced everything that he meant to be part of the city like I remember the times where people were saying oh the Raptors can’t make it to the playoffs or they can’t win a championship and oh we don’t get the respect that we deserve from American Media or like the the

Media around and and to me like it felt personal it hurt like because I was part of the community I was part of the of the team and I was embraced and I embraced everything that he meant to be a raptor and all I wanted to do is just

Go out there and play at the highest level that I could ever play at and win because I felt like the city deserve it I felt like the country deserved it against seak drives get P Green throws it opening Pascal seak makes it a point game like I couldn’t imagine

Playing for any other team than the drawing Raptors like that’s something that I like I didn’t even dare to think about because I didn’t even imagine myself playing somewhere else and the moment I had to like start thinking about it was probably one of the hardest

Times because in my head it was like difficult to just think about the idea of leaving and that’s no disrespect just like I just never thought about it um it never crossed my mind because I thought I’ll be a raptor forever

See you on Valentine’s.

  1. your the reason i started watching the NBA brotha, watching the raps will never feel the same without you

  2. Thanks Pascal for your service, and bringing us the first ever chip, we will never forget you, the timelines just didn't line up and that just happens in the NBA.

Hopefully when you are thinking of hanging it up, you retire a raptor or play on a 10-day with us to go out.

  3. Thanks for the memories Pascal. Will still be cheering for you ( just not when your facing Toronto 🙂 )

  4. I am Greatful for all Raptors players, especially pascal for being able to watch him play for home country. Definitely emotional times, also watching the finals was unreal, Toronto Raptors 2019 Champs.

  5. I’m just a random fan from Saskatchewan, Canada but I was lucky enough to see you play live in Edmonton in the preseason last year, I feel lucky to have seen one of the greatest Raptors of all time play the game. Your are pure class and an absolute bucket brother. Wish you all the best, Canada always will have your back.

  6. My favourite player, the rising star on the championship squad. When everyone was talking bad about him during the bubble and the covid season, I kept telling people just wait till he’s back in T.O
    2x All Star
2x All NBA (should’ve been his 3rd selectionlast season)
And one of the greatest players in franchise history.
I hope nothing but the best for you in Indy and anywhere else you may play.
    Thank you P!

  7. "He's always the first one to show up at the gym and the last one to leave. He always has a smile on his face. He's always positive." Scottie Barnes

  8. P! Doesn't matter if you see this or not, we miss you! We may have never met you but we grew with you, watching you further than just on the court; watching your career be documented on Open Gym, hearing your story, hearing you tell your story, seeing your triumph! You are the most Toronto Raptor a Raptor could ever be.

  9. This is why mark cuban is respected! Why treat a legacy player like this. Look how miami treated Haslem. Raptors did you dirty!

  10. Forever a Toronto Raptor and forever a 2019 Toronto Raptor NBA champion. Thank you for everything Pascal Siakam.

  12. Pascal Siakam will always be family to us Toronto Raptors fans. Thank you for everything, you gave it all. Your finals run was incredible, you are forever Toronto.

  13. Crazy how one of the best championship teams on paper in recent history retained none of its players just 5 years later… shame what could've been if Kawhi didn't leave.

  14. I was in toronto in 2019 for the title win from Australia a moment ill never forget.

Spicy p been a favourite since first getting up from the g league! Wish him all the success and everything from here on out

Ill Still rock my #43 with pride

  15. Hurts so much to see you go but im never gonna take my poster off my wall! Love you Siakam and everything you did for the Raptors and Toronto! Can't be replaced your work ethic and great attitude and leadership!

  16. I'll rep your jersey forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving everything you had to this team, this city, and this country. We love you and will never forget you, Pascal. ❤

  17. PSkills! First NBA player that I legitimately enjoyed watching develop. Our finals run was something else man. Your hustle and ability to fly out of nowhere for a cut and a basket was my favourite. Sad to see you go, especially after things dragged on for so long with these damn trade rumours. Always stayed professional to the public eye. Going to continue to keep following your basketball career and work! All the best Pascal! Still repping your #43

  18. Greatest story in Raptors history in my opinion
Living in and having grown up in Toronto, i am very proud to live in a city that has given opportunity to so many international people, leading the charge when it comes to bringing the world together

  19. Thank you for helping us win a chip, for staying with us through the good and rough times. Top 3 Raptor of all time. Good luck in Indiana Pascal Siakam.

  20. Gonna miss you P. I feel like you didn't get enough respect and love while you're here. You looked good in the Pacers jersey today and you'll have no problems fitting in there. All love!
