Not close at all. It’s all reactionary. It’s easy to forget how this same sub was calling for his head for years, and deservedly so. I will always love Bud but he consistently got outcoached almost every playoffs. It was time to move on.
If we would have gotten someone like Nurse to replace him, these types of posts may never have happened. All in hindsight. Also ppl gotta remember that Griff was the one Giannis wanted and we were going to do anything to help make him sign an extension. Which he did. So you make that same coaching change 10/10 times if that’s what helped lead to that.

this team is a 50 win 2nd round exit with jrue + bud. giannis covers so many of our issues and carries us to more regular season wins than we deserve, giving us a higher seed and fooling us into thinking we’d do good in the playoffs
