I think both should be fired.
I actually think Vaughn is self handicapping with his pure spreadsheet analytics philosophy. If you remember the Suns game, he schemed a specific trapping defense against KD and Booker, daring the others to make plays……and it worked brilliantly. Lately, we’ve gone back to more switch and very shallow drops…..and our defense has been better.
He’s obviously not an idiot. He can scheme actual defenses, but he’s become so robotic towards playing spreadsheet ball. And you want your coach to be pro analytics, but you need to maximize the personnel first.
Doesn’t help that he’s completely handcuffed by lebron too
thank you for mentioning JV after a win. I literally never see it lol I appreciate you giving props. he gets all the blame after every loss and 0 credit for every win, it’s ridiculous at this point. even look at this comment section
You can’t scream keep Vaughn after every miracle win when there’s so many examples of poor management and reasons why to fire him.
