Cam Thomas led the Nets with 33 points off the bench as Brooklyn defeated the Lakers, 130-112. Nic Claxon (22 points, 14 rebounds, two blocks) and Mikal Bridges (17 points, five assists) totaled 39 points in the win. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists while LeBron James (24 points, 11 rebounds, five assists) and D’Angelo Russell (20 points, seven assists) added 44 points. The Nets improve to 17-24 as the Lakers move to 21-22.

The day will come when people will realize that LeBron is truly past his prime and can't win without a super team anymore. I'm tired of hearing that the Lakers need to trade to help him. It's like he's entitled to fight for the tittle every year. If the Lakers want to fight for the title and/or rebuild then it's time to talk about trading LeBron, but no one wants to have that conversation. Right now he's just stat padding.
