The G League have now come up and done wonderfully for the Blazers we’ll start with fan favorite baji absolutely I I tell people baji knows how to throw a party and the type of party it is is a block party he was second overall in the
G league and block shots and he helped lead the remix to having the best um statist to being the best statistically and block shots as a team as well and he he’s been able to see that translate on the interior he’s a big energy guy works hard rebounds well and again protects
That Rim he’s an anchor he’s a Fearless guy he came right in right in right away and started blocking everything in sight are you surprised by that not at all like I said that’s the type of party he likes to throw as a block party man he
He’s just has a real knack for the ball finding the ball timing the ball obviously while it’s in the air as well and he’s a seven-footer which is something that you can’t teach so I’m really excited to see what he’s doing with the Blazers now selfishly I missed
The blonde hair I mean he’s still amazing I missed the B it was fly it was fly mov went on to Chris Murray who I actually talked to earlier tonight that will be at the beginning of the broadcast he set his time with the remix was just invaluable yeah yeah absolutely I think
His confidence grew tremendously he played well in showcase cup play but during regular season play averaging 19.3 points per game 8.7 rebounds he’s just doing it all for the team on both sides to the ball so you just got to see his confidence grow as he’s learned in
The pace of the game and able to really just put his skills on display for the remix and now with the Blazers just scoring 13 a few nights ago against the Suns yeah he had uh 41% shooting at Iowa when he was left open on catch and
Shoots so he’s always ready to fire it up but even still he does more than just shoot the ball he’s attacking the rim he’s rebounding about nine rebounds a game with the remix and also the other night three steals he does everything out there yeah yeah you could put him on
The opposing team team’s best player he can guard multiple positions he can score it obviously as you mentioned and he’s got good l on the floor so he can be utilized in a lot of different ways for the Blazers as he’s been doing with the remix so no surprise that he’s
Thriving right now and then you got Ryan ruper or RS as we call him around here what do you thought about his play I think rops has really found himself a young 19yearold with so many tools to be able to do a lot of different things but
I think what he’s really improved at is his three-point shooting he was top 10 in showcase cut playing three-point shooting shooting 44% and you saw him a few nights ago he was a perfect three for three from De in the in the Blazers game against the Sun so I think it’s
Really starting to translate for him and his confidence just continues to grow all around you know I’m going to give him a comp and Blazers fans KN know who I’m about to talk about Nick Batum I think he’s like a baby Nick Batum baby Batum out there I love his his length
And he just has a high IQ out there and he can shoot that three ball yeah very high IQ and he doesn’t play outside of himself I think he’s figured out what it is that he’s really good at getting downhill using his length to finish around the basket and then again the
Three-pointers he likes to shoot are more catch and shoot three-pointers but he tends to drain them so I think he started to figure himself out and he plays within himself and it’s working for him Dev I listening to you talk about these guys it’s like you’re proud
Father I am I’m not going to lie I love it I love every bit of it you know again just to be able to see this part of their Journeys as young players you expect a lot of these guys to be the future of the NBA and again being able
To see what they’re doing and how they’re growing right in front of our eyes and us being able to just have that here we haven’t had a g League affiliate so to be able to see it in these earlier parts of their career is super dope and
Uh I’m glad to be a part of it it is very super dope super dope for sure sure very super dope we talked about some of the guys that are we know are super dope who are some or maybe one guys that are in the remix up we might not know about
That you’ve been really impressed by Ashton haens he’s the point guard for the remix averaging upwards of 15 points per game eight assists per game as well which are career highs for him and he’s essentially become the heart and soul of the remix he plays really hard on both
Sides of the floor he barks a little bit but he bites as well you know what I’m saying he backs it up with his play and uh I and he also is leading right now in g-league next up vots for the g-league allstar game so um folks out here in Rib
