The Pels already have the rights on their 2024 and 2025 1st RD picks. D Murray instantly improves their roster, but it’s hard to believe any GM, in this case Pelinka, sees this team competing for anything more than a 2nd Round Playoff exit. (Link below)
Maybe if Bron was 35 and not 39 or if AD wasn’t made of glass, mortgaging their future would make sense, but adding Murray to this roster doesn’t make any sense.
The state of the Lakers, really makes me appreciate how Connelly and Booth crafted not only a championship roster, but one that is capable of staying competitive for the foreseeable future.
