Thelma Krause receives outpouring of support after Bulls Ring of Honor incident

Thelma Krause receives outpouring of support after Bulls Ring of Honor incident

I talked to her at length today and she is in a remarkably good place because of the overwhelming support she has received today from people all around the league around the franchise Etc so uh you know the words that she gave to me was I’ve had so much support that I

Can’t help but focus on the positive not the negative and sometimes good things come from Bad instances and this was a bad instance and the good thing that can come from this is the over correction that you know people are going to have to realize that Jerry kuss was really

Good at his job that’s why he’s in the N Smith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame so you can boo him if you want you can disagree with how the dynasty ended Etc but in terms of you know his accomplishments and the way he built teams there’s no disputing that and so

Uh I just wanted to convey that to the viewers because we could we could all learn a lot from the way she conducted herself throughout this experience and just talking to her today was an empowering moment for myself individually as well

K.C. Johnson joined Bulls Pregame Live to report on the messages of appreciation Thelma Krause received after her late husband Jerry Krause was booed by fans at the Friday’s Ring of Honor ceremony

  1. Saw the ceremony, heard some boos, but somehow I think she'll be OK, don't let the drunken few that booed represent Chicago fans, the real fans cheer, and are thankful

  2. ….. booooooooo Jerry Krause literally ruined a dynasty that had a double 3 peat because of his ego ….. BOOOOOOOOO

  3. Jerry Krause did it to himself and his family… He stuck his middle finger up at the Chicago fans and decided to break up the dynasty. He knew that nobody wanted it… except him and his ego to build a winning team without MJ. To this day, I remember that stupid man and his petty ego and how he screwed the fans and the players… You don’t take away something historic.. He was a Petty, egotistical, little fat man and deserved every boo in that building. He did it to himself and his family and never cared at all about it.

  4. Yes I do feel bad for her, but let's not act like Krause was some hero and didn't deserve the boo's. He literally was the reason the bulls at their height broke up cause he thought himself more important than the GOAT. And your telling me the boo's aren't justified???

  5. I think people are booing, so they think, on behalf of Michael Jordan. It was MJ who publicly expressed his disdain for Krause. It was unfortunate

  6. Jerry built the greatest basketball ever ! He also destroyed the greatest team ever cause of his narcissistic personality disorder . That's unforgettable

  7. She doesn't have anything to do with it, Jerry is at peace, hope all fans should be happy and celebrate those six championship

  8. This is mob mentality an its worse. What I would have loved to see is for someone to stand up, whether it was Phil, or Ron Harper, or heck, even one of the current Bulls, to get up and grab the microphone and tell everyone why they should be cheering the moment. Maybe take that moment away from the boo-birds and let the others have the opportunity to give a cheer and round of applause for this woman sitting there feeling crushed. No one stood up for Jerry (or his wife here) in that moment, I think that's a bit shameful too.

  9. This is music to my ears. When the crowd booed Jerry i thought WTF to myself. His era should be applauded. All he did was put together the most impressive run in NBA history. Come on Chicago

  10. You could ( should?) boo… or not. As fans, we have the right to do the minimum at least. It is important to realize many widows grift off of the hard labor of their spouses. They take the earnings and pensions of the dead hubbys and live the life of Riley. Maybe even go to Poundtown with a toyboy, while slagging on the former Mr.'s dinero.

  11. So glad to hear this, bless you Thelma Krause and may your husband RIP.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
