[IanBegley] Jalen Brunson’s assist numbers have jumped significantly since the OG Anunoby deal. Brunson’s assists per game (8.4) & assist percentage (35.5) since trade would both be top 6 in NBA if extrapolated over a full season.

  1. Mainly because RJ was not hitting his shots

but for real, with OG things just open up and making JB and JR’s lives much easier

Fit is so important in team sports but none quite like basketball. OG fits seamlessly here, and clearly it goes beyond just the defense. Still over the moon with this trade

  3. Better shooting/spacing = better passing for everybody

OG’s most underrated skill is his High IQ on when to cut to the basket

He ALWAYS makes the correct cut to the open space under the hoop, and actually *PUTS HIS HANDS UP* to receive the pass

This has already led to a million easy dunks and layups

For some reason this is a skill a lot of NBA players do not have, the ability to know when to cut and then *finish the cut* and also put they hands up to get the pass

OG and Brunson match made in Heaven on offense

Just like Brunson makes Randle better, OG makes Brunson better. Though I’d say Brunson’s impact on Randle is bigger than OG’s impact on Brunson.
