The Miami Heat Just Found Their Missing Piece… | YTNM

So a fresh new week has arrived and here on this channel that means one thing and one thing only every weekend I post an episode of this series we do called your take not mine where I Turn to You the viewers to give me your hottest NBA

Takes of the week based on what’s going on at the time and I then choose my favorite submissions and discuss them in a video this week we saw the first big trade go down with the trade deadline approaching and many more seem to be on the way in the coming weeks with rumors

Swirling so we definitely have plenty to discuss in order to submit your takes I make a community post on either the day of or the day before the video similar to the one that you see on your screen now so if you want a chance to be

Featured in a future episode be sure to stay on the lookout for that before we start though I want to thank prize picks for sponsoring today’s video prize pick is a skill-based real money daily fantasy sports game where you select two to six players and guess if they will

Hit more or less than their projection and if you get it right you can win up to2 five times your original entry obviously we’re all basketball fans here but prize picks has almost every sport you can think of available to choose from and play to add to the fun they

Also offer frequent bonuses discounts and weekly promotions such as Taco Tuesday and flex Friday plus so many more specialty free spaces to watch for throughout the year so you don’t want to miss those I personally will be playing Jamal Murray to score under 242 points alperin shenon to to score under 24 1/2

For sponsoring today’s video now let’s get back to the topic at hand the first take we’ll be discussing today comes to us from YY and they say that the addition of Pascal cakam is going to throw off the moment momentum of this Pacers team so this week we saw the

First big domino fall on the trade market with the trade deadline looming just a few short weeks away the Indiana Pacers have been a very exciting young group this season breaking out as playoff contenders and they’ve done it through their dangerous offensive system that ranks number one in the league

Tyrese halberton has been Sensational the cast around him loves to push the pace in transition and fire up quick shots and in general they generate a ton of quality looks relatively easily I’ll say that I understand the sentiment of this kind of take because there are plenty of examples of teams pushing all

Of their chips in by trading for a star only for that star to clash with what worked for that team prior to the deal and it ends up not being worth it dejonte Murray um but I just don’t believe that this is an example of that

At all the Pacers gave up Bruce Brown Jordan noara and three first round picks for Pascal cakam to get this deal done which I’ll admit feels like a hefty price to pay Pascal cakam is not only on an expiring contract right now set to hit free agency this summer but he’s

Also been vocal about testing the waters in free agency so there is a chance he could leave after this season if that happens then obviously this was a complete disaster of a trade but from my point of view it really seems as though cakam is going to be there for the long

Run and signed a contract extension and I don’t think the Pacers would have done this deal if they didn’t have some level of reassurance of that that from a basketball perspective cakam literally could not possibly be a better fit into both how the Pacers play offensively and where they needed help defensively cakam

Is a versatile defensive talent that can slot in very nicely alongside Miles Turner in the front court and offensively he’s a power forward that actually plays his best when the game speeds up because he’s a quick player with the ball in his hands who can grab a rebound and immediately run the break

Which is great alongside a playmaker like halberton as well he can handle some of the playmaking and shot creation duties to alleviate Tyrese halberton he’s an upgrade defensively which is much needed with this Pacers team currently being in the bottom five on that end and even though I’m not ready

To call this team a championship Contender yet it’s definitely a step in the right direction the next take we’ll be discussing today comes to us from Ryan and he says that the Minnesota Timberwolves are still Pretenders despite sitting at top of the Western Conference because their lackluster offense will ultimately hold hold them

Back that was the gist of his take but I’ll start off by saying that Ryan got a few of those numbers that he included wrong the Timberwolves success is obviously driven by their number one ranked defense that much is true but the offense isn’t quite bottom 10 in the

League like He suggests it’s ranked 19th which is barely clearing that barrier while you could look at that as a silver lining it’s still not great comparing them to all of the other teams currently in a playoff position in the standing the wolves have the second worst offense

Ranked only ahead of the Miami Heat in that regard the ideology behind defense wins championships can definitely take you a long way I’m not saying otherwise but teams that have been winning championships lately in recent history have all pretty much been top 10 ranked offenses besides funnily enough the 2022

Warriors but they have had such a long run of offensive dominance that they earned the benefit of the doubt that year to be able to turn it up in Big Moment the Timberwolves on the other hand have not earned that kind of benefit of the doubt Anthony Edwards is a sensational

Young Talent emerging as a legitimate superstar in the making and is honestly a big reason for why I wouldn’t count them out of any series because you need someone that you can trust to have the ball in their hands and just go get a bucket down the stretch of a playoff

Game ant can definitely be that guy but in general their offensive Firepower is not on the same level of other Western Conference contenders the Clippers are hitting their stride and as long as they’re healthy it’s going to be really difficult to stack up with the likes of Kawhi Leonard Paul George and James

Harden the suns are finally healthy and starting to turn things around with their star studded Trio of Kevin Durant Devin Booker and Bradley Beal the Thunder have maybe the best scoring guard in the league right now in sheay gilis Alexander along with a group of emerging young talent that can D up as

Well as anybody and the nuggets are obviously still the team to beat in the Western Conference as reigning Champions so having the ones seed would definitely help Minnesota but it does kind of still feel like an uphill climb and finally the last take we’ll be discussing today

Comes to us from mango and he says that the Miami Heat are won Deonte Murray or Terry roir away from a championship as I said in the last segment the Miami Heat have the worst ranked offense currently out of all of the teams currently sitting in a playoff spot in the

Standings while this is a group that is notorious for kind of skating by in the regular season especially Jimmy Butler before turning things up when the lights get bright they still don’t quite look like a group that can get over the hump and are in desperate need of an

Injection of offense to the team what I’m struggling with though is how they’re going to accomplish that the Heat have started to pop up in rumors lately apparently showing interest in players like the ones named in the original take here but whether they have enough to land those guys in a trade is

Another story Tyler hero shouldn’t be on the table for a trade of this caliber and the Heat would also be foolish to offer rookie haime hakz in any trade offer with how good he has looked all season so without them they really don’t have much value that’s Expendable Kyle

Lowry is a negative asset at this point Caleb Martin isn’t moving the needle enough in a trade like this and Duncan Robinson’s contract is not something that other teams will want on their books so while I do agree that if the heat were to add one of those players it

Would be massive for them I’m not quite sure they have the ammunition to pull off realistically and with that being said that’s all I have for you today make sure to like the video subscribe to the channel and comment down below what you think about the takes discussed

  1. If Pat Riley doesnt make a Move before Trade Deadline then hes failed Jimmy

Dude is gonna be 35 Next Year and will most likely now retire without a Ring despite giving his best

  2. Miami doesn't really have enough trade chips for Murray, unless they are willing to give up Herro, which just doesnt make sense.

  3. Dejounte would be great but I think a more feasible one would be for someone like Terry Rozier

  4. This isn’t true Lowry has expiring contract which a lot of teams would want hawks want expiring contracts and picks back for Murray

  5. Sorry but I saw Indy last night. Skiakm slows their pace waaaay down. Maybe it gets better but I doubt it. The Blazers are a bad team…they should not be able to win vs Indy going 4-12 from 3 like it was 1984.

  6. I think Murray fits like a glove in Miami, I feel like he'd go back to the defense he was playing when he was in San Antonio because Miami is more of a defensive minded team and would be great as the primary ball handler and having Herro play off ball would be better for the heat offense. I believe he'd be the best version of himself on a winning team like Miami. I also think they have the assets to do it. They have 3 tradable firsts, the Lakers second, Nikola Jovic (promising player with a lot of potential), as well as Kyle Lowry's expiring contract(30 mil) which also very valuable.
