That’s a steep asking price, but if the demand is there for him, it makes sense.

There’s also the flexibility with his contract and his option date being after the draft. Really do not need to make a trade at the deadline if we don’t feel any offer is good enough.

Doubt we’ll get both without taking a bad contract in return…

The market for him is going to probably be a lot bigger than we think.

Not just contenders. That’s a team option, right? We might also see some teams that are desperate for cap space interested in acquiring him to get cap relief at the end of the season.

Either way the trade looks like it’s going to have more branches (kinda like the Liliard trade for Portland)

I will gladly take rui and the lakers first

  5. Lakers would do this if they could match salary

Why is this sub all of a sudden so hyped on getting “You is not him” Grimes??? He doesn’t add anything to our roster, we need BIGS!!! Plus I doubt NY gives him away. I’ll take Fournier alone for 2 picks. That way we have even more cap space next year. 1 Fournier = 1 pick to take on contract, 1 pick = Bruce Brown

  7. Masai and Bobby love to drag out these trade situations…they’re going to drag it out until the last second and try to get everything they can. I just hope it’s like like the Siakam thing where they get less than they should because they get greedy

Hoping we get this but it seems highly unlikely for Bruce brown.
