It is really more boring than irritating. He won’t be here when the team’s window (hopefully) opens up in a couple years. He will not have produced significant enough results to get any assets or draft capital in a trade.

I’m interested to see what Ben does in his contract year. Would he really be bold enough to start playing his best again to get another contract from some team? I also wonder what type of contract offers he will get if he continues on this pattern until his contract expires. I know he would get minimum offers and 1 year deals.
