Multiple Sixers TRADE Targets REVEALED for Sixers…

Multiple Sixers TRADE Targets REVEALED for Sixers…

The San Antonio Spurs have emerged as one of the more interesting teams ahead of the NBA trade deadline now we know where they stand as a team Bottom Feeders of the NBA at this current moment with a bright future painted around rookie Superstar Victor wanyama they’ve taken an interesting approach

Approach to his development of late kind of limiting his minutes and making sure he’s getting the most bang for his buck in terms of production they’re seeing a different version of wenyama through the past couple weeks hungry on the court more direct in the way he plays and an

Overall just more energized player but it seems like they have some interest in shaking things up ahead of the trade deadline so I want to talk about how that could pertain to the Philadelphia 76ers and how they have a chance to catch some shrapnel from trades which

Could work out in the team’s favor so I’m Begin by kicking things off with this Chris Haynes report here who reported that the Spurs apparently had been on the trade phones a bit when it comes to Shooters chedy Osman and Doug mcder something that hay said quote surprised him and then he emphasizes

That I was told the Spurs are listening to offers for some of their veterans that are on expiring Deals they don’t have too many veterans but they have two veterans that are on expiring deals Doug mcder and cheddy Osman these are two players that would be pretty good

Fixtures on a team that’s trying to win or to contend right now so for starters I kind of agree with hay sentiment that it’s surprising to see them shopping these types of players that I think one of the keys for building a successful infrastructure for a young player like

Victor wanyama is having the right veterans around to learn the ropes of the professional world to learn how to handle yourself and overall just raise his ceiling as a player to understand how to model to give him opportunities for success I think we’ve seen some examples over time of the down Falls

When there is not the right concrete steps the Charlotte hits are an example of an organization where I kind of point to toward that direction that I don’t think they have done a nice job a nice enough job building the infrastructure for young players to succeed but I do

Want to touch on each of these players directly and talk about how it pertains to the Sixers and why it really does make sense in my mind for players these Sixers could be targeting so I’m going to begin by this article by these Sixers sents here to read a report on cheddy

Osman as a potential Target and has written that quote one veteran they are already believed to be shopping is cheddy Osman who came over to the Spurs last summer via trade also an expiring deal he is unlikely to be in their long-term plans despite being so uh

Solid in his limited minutes for the Greg papovich lead Squad osman’s numbers are down in a large part due to the decline in court time but the former Cavalier has remained rock solid as a second unit forward his defense hasn’t looked great next to a Spurs team in

Want of a major Point preventing Acumen but that should improve with a team that is looking to actually win games he’s still a great connector on offense hits open shots at a respectable clip and is still Savvy at attack and Closeouts to either score and find other players at

The seams he should be a good fit with the 76ers as some sort of Nicholas patum replica he’s not quite as lengthy experienced or efficient but his play style is an uncanny similar an uncannily similar to the Frenchman with Robert Covington and Marcus Mor Morris Senor

Being up and down so far cheddy Osman should be a cheap depth piece who can give Nick nurse a well-rounded forward Off the Bench so a lot of great thoughts here and I want to begin by saying I don’t think Osman is nearly as good as Niko Batum Nik Tom has been absolutely

Terrific for the Sixers team and I’ve G gone as far as being on record that when you make the list of Untouchables for the Sixers team ahead of the trade deadline I would go Joel embiid Tyrese Maxi and Nicholas patum that is how highly I think of his value to this team

More specifically from a skill set standpoint the quick release that he has the connective passer that he is and overall just the veteran Savvy that is important to this team now I do think Osman replicates a lot of those traits not quite to the extent and it is a guy

That I do think they’re interested but I would be lying if I didn’t say that Doug mcder is is the piece that I am more interested from the Sixers perspective I very much believe this team needs a volume shooter a guy that is willing and

Able to light it up from deep and in a hurry and that is every bit of Doug mcder so to dive into a little bit of the stats their season for each of these players as the article mentioned they both have seen fewer opportunities than has traditionally been the case for

Their career asman averaging 18.2 minutes per game with just one start on the season and Doug mcdermit coming off the bench in all 35 of his games averaging just 15.6 minutes per game now in those levels of production there’s still some things that can can be worth noting that Osman averaging 7.5 points

Per game 2.6 rebounds and 1.8 assist per game those are pretty good numbers for a guy in limited minutes still shooting 36.9% from three on 3.3 attempts and as I mentioned Doug mcder an absolute Gunner 45.8% from three he is shooting on the season on 3.7 attempts which is

Really impressive stuff in his 15.6 minutes per game and then overall 6.2 points 1.3 assists and 1.0 rebound so we’ve seen better versions of these players in better opportunities on other teams for Osman I think about his opportunities being a valuable playoff contributor for those Cavalier teams

Been a couple years now but we still understand that is the player and still not that old at this point in his career he has a couple Seasons left in him and another point that I wanted to tie into all of this was the interest in dejonte

Marray now at this point ahead of the trade deadline we’ve seen some big pieces fall in the trade market we’ve seen the OG anobi trade to the Knicks we’ve seen the Pascal seak trade to the Pacers and it feels like Deon Murray is the next piece to fall The most

Significant Allstar likely to be moved ahead of this trade deadline now the Spurs are a team that are showing interest and as this is reported here it says quote earlier this week after multiple reports that the Spurs were among the teams inquiring about Murray’s availability in a trade TNT’s Dennis

Scott told reporters that Murray told him quote pop is like a father to me I would welcome it but right now I’m a hawk few believe he’ll be a hawk for long though so strange that first off I think it’s weird that they’re interested in bringing dejonte Murray back in that

We obviously know he began his career here career there had some success and was productive for that time time it is obvious that the wheels are falling off in Atlanta and I don’t think he is destined to play the foreseeable future for his career there but it would be a

Strange step for this first team obviously a vastly different situation bringing Murray to this team when you have a player the caliber of Victor wanyama to pair him with I do see the appeal on that end but I guess that speaks to what these spurs do think of

Murray now the reason I want to tie this into this whole conversation is this feels like a very Daryl Mory move that we had a report last week specifically on the Sixers stand that says quote these Sixers have been linked to Murray but would Daryl Mor give up multiple

Picks for a guard who’s a questionable fit next to Tyrese Maxi his franchise quarterstone alongside Joel embiid rival Executives who spoke with hoopy expect my to continue gauging the trade market throughout the deadline so with that report there what that means to me is not a question of if the Sixers can get

Deon Murray I think they have the assets and are capable and able to get him but it is a question if you see him as the long-term fit now I do push back on that report that I do believe Murray and Max could fit quite well next to each other

That I like the idea of pairing Maxi with a larger guard with a longer wingspan more defensive capabilities even though he has not been quite that guy in Atlanta but I still understand the logic here and I think it could all connect of Daryl Mory taking the mindset

Of let me get in the mix here try and make this a three- team deal and catch the scraps from both teams to help link de Jon Murray to head down to San Antonio to help the Hawks get the draft capital and future pieces that they want

And Daryl Morty collecting some win now assets for this Sixers team and two of likely candidates in that would be Doug mcder and cheddy Osman now to see that happen I would say would be a little underwhelming from the Sixers standpoint that I don’t love the concept of

Settling for just these rotation pieces I think the Sixers are still in need of a Creator in a way that neither of these guys check the boxes so I would be unhappy if that was the oneandone deal for these Sixers but there’s a lot of excellent points that can be made and

When you talk about trying to make this work and trying new pieces there’s still a crucial part of ironing down the Sixers rotation that while top end is pretty appealing when you talk about the starting lineup with guys like Tyrese Maxi Joel embiid Nico Batum Tobias Harris and then whether it’s DeAnthony

Melton or Kelly UB for that six spot that’s a nice top six right there and then looking beyond that there are some notable rotation players that we have not seen enough for Robert cumington yet Patrick Beverly has really cemented himself as a key part of this Sixers

Team bball Paul you can feel how you feel about the backup center spot but between Paul Reed and mo Boma that’s still a better option than they’ve had in years past for for this team and even a guy like Marcus Morris who was impressed so that right there is 10

Players in this Sixers rotation you have to believe that Doug mcder and cheddy asman are upgrades over some of those players at least to go out and attack this that I don’t see the appeal in approaching this type of trade if you don’t strongly feel these guys are in

Your playoff rotation I will say once again that I’m not as high on chedy Osman in this conversation but I do think Doug mcdermit is a guy that can absolutely light it up from Beyond and that caliber of shooter that type of off ball mover when you think of the JJ redx

The Seth Curry the Gunners that the Sixers have had playoff Joel embiid that would be a perfect spot for him and he obviously comes with his defensive deficiencies as well neither of these guys are perfect players but if Daryl Mor wants to do something at the deadline and he absolutely should I

Think it would be organizational malpractice to absolutely stand still at this point in time even though these Sixers have been far exceeding expectations and better than most expected this is a deal that I think is one of the more logical deals from Daryl Mor’s perspective this is not something

I’m pounding the table getting excited about saying this is the missing piece for the championship but I do want to note that I think this is something to keep an eye on as talks heat up that I do expect these Sixers to be very much involved into the de Jon maray sweep

Stakes but I’m honestly starting to grasp my mindset that maybe they’re going to be more interested in catching the shrapnel and pieces around the edges of that deal so I do want to hear from you guys what you think about that overall as I’ve kind of laid out my

Feelings here this isn’t something I’m overly excited about but I do understand the logic of and frankly when connecting the dots reading the tea Lees something that I think is more likely than not to happen if these are trades that do go down that if dejonte Murray does end up

In San Antonio would not surprise me whatsoever if these Sixers are the third team in the mix helping to organize and facilitate that whole deal so once again thank you guys so much for tuning in this video make sure to smash that subscribe button right here on Sixers

Digest drop a like on the video and let me know your thoughts on the comments I want to hear know what you think about these particular two options or if you like me think these Sixers should be seeking a bigger fish in the pond talk to you next time right here on Sixers

Digest peace

The San Antonio Spurs are shaping up to be surprising sellers at the NBA trade deadline and possess some players that should pique interest around the league. Sean Barnard breaks down a few veterans expected to be on the trade block and if the Sixers should have an interest. He gives his thoughts on Cedi Osman and Doug McDermott and their fit and why this could be likely as the deadline inches closer.

  1. Sean i love your channel appreciate your hard work! But you have the Sixers trading for every player possibly available.. SMH

  2. Murray is awesome. not only long and athletic, but sneaky smart. i think he makes everyone on the Sixers better, including Maxey. regarding cedi and doug mcdonalds, yawn. i can't see how they make us better. maybe at garbage time. i'd trade springer for either guy, though.

  3. Pascal Siakam was a huge missed opportunity! If we miss out on Dejountay Murray too, we will be exiting in the second round AGAIN!!!

  4. We definitely need someone to fill that role when Embid goes out in the second quarter and third quarter Paul’s reed isn’t the answer he can’t help himself to foul or turn the ball over we can’t trust him in the playoffs

  5. I'm concerned that we are undervaluing a huge window of opportunity THIS year. The can should not be kicked forever down the road. Lets push in some significant chips NOW!!!!!

  6. Sixers Please make the right trade's, We need a big and good back up center and more good Shooters,🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  7. This following 3-Team Trade Proposal between the SIXERS/NETS/BULLS which the SIXERS would have to give up ALL of it's DRAFT PICKS is the only trade if it could happen where the SIXERS would WIN the next 2-3 NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS starting this season barring major injuries to key players, breakdown of the TRADE is as follows: Sixers Get: M.Bridges, D.DeRozan, D.Finney-Smith, R.O'Neale, A.Caruso & A.Drummond Bulls Get: T.Harris, M.Morris Sr, R.Covington, D.Melton, F.korkmaz & M.Bamba + draft picks via (PHI) Nets Get: Z.LaVine, D.House Jr, J.Springer or KJ Martin + draft picks via (PHI) the SIXERS should've NEVER traded away M.Bridges & A.Drummond to begin with so for the SIXERS to get those players back along with the other players that I've mentioned would be a MAJOR WIN for the team one in which the team would experience a lot of success! All of the players the SIXERS would acquire in these trades would need to sign long term contracts and RETIRE as 76ers players for this to work, if someone could get this message to Daryl Morey before it's too late I would greatly appreciate it! GO SIXERS

  8. The Sixers need someone at both ends of the floor. A player I would look at is Grimes from NY or Griffin from ATL.😮

  9. Marcus Morris has not been up and down as a SIXER.He has been solid and reliable for us.Covington just cant get minutes because of injuries.

  10. if it's from the Spurs, it better at least be Keldon Johnson 😭😭

    he's a 3&D wing (6'5, 220lbs) who can guard Brown/Tatum/Butler to a fair extent

a career 36% three-point shooter does not worry me as much cuz he's had to put up 17 PPG as one of the their main scorers

Keldon should shoot even more efficiently around Embiid & Maxey with a lesser offensive workload 👀

  11. if we could snag seth curry off the bench i wouldnt mind, since we have so many forwards he wouldnt be bad with pat bev in limited minutes, obviously the defensive flaw would be made up with the sharp shooting. i think we could run embiid and tobias with pat bev curry and melton or oubre and stretch the floor really well

  12. Bro just be throwing stupid names out there I speak for sixer fans as whole… WE DONT WANT
    Cedi Osman
    Gary Harris
    Orrr Buddy Heild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. I do not want Murray. He needs to run the point and I see zero reason to take Tyrese permanently off the ball with the way his been playing. Get a 3 and D shooting guard to play in the backcourt with Tyrese, a backup center, a high scoring 6th man. I believe they can obtain so these things without seriously disrupting there rotation players.

  14. Y’all young bwoys need to stop fantasy with a team I ride and die for 35”” years. Good luck with your gossiping ass you tube channel. Trust me you don’t know shit!!!

  15. Dejounte Murray career to bring him next to Tyrese Maxey and inquiring more scorer improving on draft picks and rotational scorer in the rotations

  16. 6rs DONOT needs big trades they need little addition or do NOTHING remember they've brought in 4 players from the Harden deal plus a few FA that still have to gel

  17. Your thoughts earlier this season about Tobias were completely wrong that Marcus Morris (O) and Robert Covington (D) had better individual skill sets than Tobias. If you suck at one and are great at the other, that does not equal one who is slightly above average at both. As Morey said previously you need two players in the playoffs.

  18. Not a fan of Osman. I think if Korkmaz had the same amount of opportunities that Korkmaz would have had a better career to this point. So we don't need Osman because Furk can do everything Osman does. Osman may be a bit more athletic and a bit better at defense.
McDermott is a great shooter but he'll just be attacked on the opposite end of the floor. We saw that with Niang last year. We loved Niang and that helps you win regular season games but do we really want to experience that again?

  19. I am happy with how Morey is approaching this trade deadline. Morey used to only focus on the numbers but not the chemistry. Murray is a bad fit with Maxey. Murray is making $18 mil per year for 4 more years. Murray definitely believes he is better than Maxey but would have to play next to him while making 20 mil less over the next few years. We don't need those problems.
Why isn't Murray and Trae working? Why would we repeat the same type of guard duo?
We just saw it not work.

  20. It would be malpractice to make the team worse by forcing a deal. Who are we willing to lose to get better? Who should be untouchable? If people have a real opinion on deals, I would like to know who is untouchable on our team. If you start to realize that there are a lot of pieces you like, then you know a deal isn't necessary. I mean a bad deal isn't necessary.

    #1 Embiid — Untouchable
    #2 Maxey — Untouchable
#3 Harris — Not untouchable — would prefer to keep him and sign him for much less
#4 Batum — Not untouchable — prefer to keep him. Glue guy makes everything work better
#5 Beverly — Not untouchable — prefer to keep — great bench and locker room guy. His presence has made the team better and still good player.
#6 Melton — Not untouchable — Only trade if the piece you get back is better or can do what he does but with size. Otherwise, I like him.
#7 Reed — Not untouchable — Plays his role well. Young flexible back up big. If you trade him you would still need to get someone like him back.
#8 Oubre — Not untouchable — For his salary, a wing that can produce like Oubre is hard to find. He is playing for a deal. We should continue to benefit from that.

Marcus Morris, Covington, KJ Martin, House, Korkmaz — I don't love or hate any of these players. None of them are DNPCD type of players. They could get minutes on other teams. If they are valuable to someone else we could make a small deal for a specific type of talent the team is missing.

Jaden Springer — I don't want to lose a talent like Isiah Joe because we didn't find out how good he really is. I don't know how Springer can prove his worth on this team that is competing without taking Melton's or Bev's minutes. So, I have no idea how I feel about Springer. Hopefully, he soaks up everything he can from Pat Bev and proves himself next year if he can still be on the roster.
