This team really isn’t that good
Outplayed by a way better team. Not much to it
The only thing Kidd is able to adjust is the frame of his glasses. And most of the times I question even that.

Luka played like shit, not surprised we lost. We had a five day rest, they’re on a back to back. This team has some great flashes but can’t step up consistently.

These are growing pains. Faced a team that was taller, more mature, had more chemistry, and actually hit their 3’s. Pain.

The Mavs are the definition of “so close yet so far” and it’s getting so damn frustrating
– the amount of Boston fans in the stands is sickening
– we’ll keep saying it. This team is outrageously small. It’s the reason why we’re losing games. Celts had way too much penetration.

I see a lot of folk here trying to pin the blame on 1 individual in particular but that’s just not the case. The team as a whole was just poor. Luka and Kai were inefficient, Green made some dumb mistakes as well as Tim, none of the role players could hit their open shots, no one was getting back on D.

Lively will start but will not closed game if kleber is healthy. You know kidd trust kleber. It doesn’t matter if he sucks.
This roster is limited, hopefully Nico is working OT for a trade.
Idk why Luka took 30 shots though in a game where he was shooting like trash. He’s gotta be more of a playmaker on these type of nights and needs to give up the ball more.
It’s something Jokic has mastered, when he’s not shooting well he makes a concentrated effort to get his teammates the ball. Luka tries to shoot his way out of slumps a lot of times.
We are in desperate need of a true PF. DJJ does an ok job at it, but he’s a 3. Our two true PF went a combined 4/12 including 0/7 from 3. Maxi plays decent D but Grant is a negative on that end. Kuzma, PJ, Wiggins idc just get SOMEONE.
The Celtics are now 9-2 when KP isn’t playing. They are so deep that it really doesn’t matter when one of their starters doesn’t play. Like this isn’t some disastrous loss because we lost to a team that would probably still have the best record in the league without KP.
For as bad as we played, it’s honestly pretty surprisingly we never let it get too far out of hand. Luka was terrible despite his counting stats, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him miss more layups in a single game. Kyrie couldn’t get a rhythm going until too late. And despite that we kept it right at 10-12 points difference the entire second half.
