That just shows that you aren’t an effective leader Jason.
To be fair, Luka gets a shit whistle. He took a blatent elbow to the face from brown and nothing was called. The nba clearly has a problem with poor/inconsistent refereeing, and those missed calls can decide games. Sure, it’s frustrating to watch, but 90% of the time, luka is correct in his complaints. Instead of going to bat for his team and calling out the refs, like multiple coaches recently have, kidd publicly calls out his players. Yet another reason why I want kidd gone.
Forever the catch 22. Luka isn’t wrong, but he’s also hurting his team doing it.
I know I’m a biased fan but it just seems to be a Dallas sports thing that the whistle is naturally against you. Just think guys need to focus on what they control, not what they can’t and what won’t change.
He’s right, but he also isn’t helping. Sometimes it would be good if Kidd complained, maybe get a tech and take some pressure off the players. That’s what a lot of coaches do and it mostly work.
The biggest problem is, that complaining affect our game. And it’s not just Luka it’s the whole team. We lose focus and then make mistakes. Tatum also complained on some possesions, but he didn’t lose focus. That’s what we have to learn.
Felt like they were calling this like a playoff game and we just weren’t in that mind set. Lotta questionable calls on both ends.
