  1. smh I really watched grizzlies vs raptors shit show when all this other cool stuff happened

  2. CookingLikeChef

Look at magnanimous DurGOAT appreciating a player a tier beneath his current self

  3. floatermuse

Anyone who thinks players were more skilled/better in the past is just blinded by nostalgia at this point and KD is 100% right

Imagine going back to the 1990s and saying that two different centers would be shooting 60% from midrange on high volume and being the best passer in the league lol

  4. FlyingMocko

Nah but fr tonight was a crazy night. Lost in all of this was Middleton becoming 3rd All Time Bucks leading scorer

  5. Joel probably scores more than the Raptors did per 48 lmao.

Love when players show love for the sport

  7. RaggasYMezcal

Hanging with KD, getting high and watching ball would be great.

  10. “And what more do i have to do to be part of this peak convo? What haven’t I done?”

Embiid avenged KD for our previous Spurs losses

  12. For all his burner antics one thing I love about KD is how much credit he gives other players. To young players a compliment from KD could mean the world, and it creates a great environment for the league as a whole

A lot of us in the sixers sub are ecstatic about Pat Bev being the perfect sixer who never played here but I still feel like KD was the one who got away.

I was at Suns Bulls tonight. As a Bulls fan the ending hurt my heart. As a basketball fan it was amazing seeing KD play. He’s unreal.

Nick Nurse unlocked the next step in Embiid’s evolution.

You see that immediate joy and wonder on his face?

The guy loves basketball, and doing well. He is not the guy that needs to be the alpha (obviously), He’s the guy that’s content to play in the background and then come through in the clutch. Fortunately, he’s also Kevin Durant. And the times we’ve seen him really want people to know that are the times of the highest levels of offensive basketball we’ve ever seen.

Stuff like this just strikes me, makes me think he’s not the guy on the court that loses to you and just doggedly keeps trying to run it back to prove that he’s better, he’s the guy that loses and then walks up and goes hey how did you do this and this? Can you show me?

I think in that context, his decision to go to the warriors and his take on it makes a lot more sense.

This is so cool coming from him because he is who all of those big men wanted to be. His success has lead to a league where at times he’s not even the craziest athlete on the floor at times.

  18. If Embiid wins a championship with 76ers, is his goat legacy greater than bus rider Durant?

  19. stonkerooni

Dude goes for 40 on back to back nights and gets told about someone else getting 70 and he’s over the moon about it. We really are witnessing some epic offense this season

You edited his comment in a way to make it sound like he was talking just about Embiid, but he wasn’t.

“Shit – I seen KAT had 40 at the half. I mean, The skill level ***IN THIS LEAGUE*** is insane, the coaching and schemes on offense is insane. ***You’re seeing so many different sets being run for bigs to get threes. I mean, coaches are being way more creative to put their best players in great positions to get those numbers. And you got shooters all around the floor, you got penetrators… I mean, this is the peak of basketball, in my opinion.”***
