Why The NBA Is AFRAID Of The OKC Thunder

Why The NBA Is AFRAID Of The OKC Thunder

Last season the OKC Thunder shocked many when they had a 16-game Improvement made the play in tournaments went on the road and won a game in New Orleans given how they ended the season expectations were high with chom’s return and with their young course inevitable improvements but not even the biggest supporters could

Have predicted this as of this recording the Thunder sit second in the Western Conference and are just one game back in the Minnesota Timberwolves they are an elite offense and defense can their own on the road and against the best of the best and look like legit Championship

Contenders in this video we’ll go over why this OKC Thunder Squad is a serious threat in the Western Conference why they’re well equipped to win it all come June before we begin be sure to leave a like on the video as each like makes a tremendous difference for the channel

And be sure to sub to the channel for even more content like this a testment as to whether a team is a contender or Pretender is how they Fair against the best the best in the league and it’s safe to say that the OKC Thunder hold

Their own against the top four seeds in both conferences the Thunder have an impressive 8 and4 record with an ability to win in a number of ways they’re two- one against the Tim rules this season having won one at home and one on the road at home OKC Thunder going by 23

Points a game where Shay Chets and Jay dub scored 20 or more points points the team shot 61% from the field and 46% from three against the League’s best defense they had 35 assists seven blocks and nine steals in Minnesota both teams shot poorly from the field but the

Thunder came back from double digits after blowing a double digit lead themselves and pulled away through a pivotal 11 points that Shay go Alexander scored in the fourth quarter they’re one and0 against the Boston Celtics swept the Cleveland Cavaliers are two one against the Denver Nuggets with one of

Those being a blowouts win and one of them being a narrow win sealed by shs Alexander dagger they’re one-on one against the LA Clippers and only narrowly lost by four points to the 76ers where Jets held his own against Joel embiid on top of all of this the

Thunder are tied with the ulves with the league best 13 wins on the road and have the second best net rating on the road at 5.1 so you might be wondering why do the Thunder farewell against Elite teams well it’s because they have an elite offense and Elite defense regarding

Their offense the Thunder had the fourth best offensive rating in the league at 11 19.8 have the second highest field goal percentage in the league at 50.4% have the second highest three-point field goal percentage at 39.1% and are the best free throw shooting team in the league at 84% % the

Thunder have a young big three of SGA Jay dub and Chet who are efficient scores capable of giving you high scoring outputs while manipulating defenses to create opportunities for their teammates starting with SGA he’s maintained his all-nba form from last season averaging 31 points Aur High 6.3

Assists a game and 5.6 rebounds on a career high 55% from the field at 66 Shay uses his excellent footwork agility and ability to change speeds and direction to take Defenders off the dribble and get to his spots he provides Rim pressure through his League leading 23 drives a game and

Scores 17 points per game off of those drives and with his great body control as well Shay is able to easily get into the paint and complete tough finishes Shay is a great threat inside since he’s finishing at 68.8% at the rim and with the attention

That he carers when doing that he sets up several teammates on Kick Out opportunities who are excellent from three jdb is shooting 41% on catch and shoot threes the season on two attempts to game Chad is shooting 42% on catch and shoot threes a season on four

Attempts a game lud D is shooting 43% on four attempts a game and Isaiah Joe is shooting 45% on Cat and shoot 3es at four attempts a game additionally Shay is a big threat from in range shooting an astonishing 52% from the field on 167 attempts this season moving on to Chads

He brings them in an elements that the Thunder didn’t have last season being a 7-1 center who can run the floor and finish well play well in the pick and roll and pick and pop and bring the ball up the floor finally Jay dub has been exceptional as a second-year player who

The only player in the league to shoot at least 60% at The Rim 50% from mid-range and 45 5% from three he has a crafty handle and explosion to get by Defenders is a ferocious finisher inside is a tear in the open floor he’s a great three-point shooter has improved as a

Playmaker as someone who can also drive and kick and can operate from the deep post and hit the mid-range shot all of this makes the Thunder a potential dangerous team to obtain in the playoffs but their defense is a huge reason why they’re feared as well the OKC Thunder

Had the sixth best defensive rating in the league at 11.7 they gave up the second fewest points in the paints at just 45.6 points a game and limit opponents to just 11.5 fast break points a game I spoke about the offensive prowess of the OKC’s big

Three but these guys are studs on the defensive end as well chetz hren as a rookie is fourth in the league at 2.5 blocks a game has already been a huge reason why the thunder limit teams in in paint scoring in just a second career game he had seven blocks which set the

OKC record for most blocks in a single game a record he’s since broken since he’s had eight blocks in a game afterwards he also had a month of December re AAG 3.5 blocks a game and these are not just attempts to chase blocks and hurt his team by jumping out

Of position and leading to a defensive breakdown his length lateral quickness and anticipation allow him to not only alter and block shots but also allow him to have a defensive impact away from the rim as well Shay the season is leading the league at 2.2 steals a game this

Season using his 611 wingspan and anticipation to stop fast break opportunities and create even more opportunities for the OKC Thunder plus he actually has more total steals this season than total turnovers committed additionally Jay dub has used his 72 Wings span to play much bigger than he

Actually is using his hands in in anticipation to intercept passes and pick pocket perimeter players over which turn into offensive opportunities as well a player I’d like to highlight at this time is in fact Lou Dort because while he was known as a stout Defender before efficiency and outside shooting

Have always been his ailles heels but this season he’s shooting career best 46% from the field and a mindboggling 43% from three on five attempts a game just so you know how insane this is through his first four seasons D only shot 39% from the field and 33% from

Three and with him now being a floor spacer he literally opens up what the OKC Thunder can do offensively while still bringing it defensively overall the OKC Thunder have what it takes to compete against the best of best in each conference they have an offense and defensive Personnel to handle with

Different matchups they can win on the road they’re well coached and they have a rising superstar in Shay who they can call upon to produce in dire moments with that being said let me know your thoughts on the OKC Thunder and what’s impressed you most about this team also

Let me know whether you feel this team is a true title Contender be sure to leave a like on the video as each like makes a tremendous difference for the channel and be sure to sub to the channel for more content like this hope

To see you all in the next one and stay Tuned

As of this recording, the OKC Thunder sit 2nd in the Western Conference and are just 1 game back of the Timberwolves, are an elite offense and defense, can hold their own on the road and against the best of the best, and look like legitimate contenders.

In this video, we’ll go over why this young OKC squad with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams is a serious threat in the Western Conference and why they’re well-equipped to win it all in June.

  1. I keep trying not to overhype myself but man the Thunder are so good. Like if they have a good 1st round series with an exit I'd be okay with it but they could go far

  2. With all their 1st round picks in the upcoming 6 NBA Drafts, they will need to let go of some of their young talent at some point. The scary thing is that will only make them stronger. Eg Trading Giddy and some picks for Markkanen. Imagine if they win a championship in the next 1-3 years and some ageing superstars pick the Thunder in free agency under veteran minimum contracts. Especially those desparate for a chip. It's still so hard for small market teams but the Bucks have shown it's possible. Thunder up!

  3. The thunder don’t need to do a goddamn thing. And all you fake thunder fans that say they need to be trading people just need to stop talking. Go back to being a rockets fan.

  4. I don’t think anyone is afraid of them. The only thing I’d be afraid of is the refs bc SGA gets all the calls

  5. Welp if you don't pay attention or guard their other guys then Jalen Williams could drop 20-35+ points, same goes for Chet could easily do what JDub does offensively both are a threat as well as menace defensively their shooting/effiency is off the charts then Giddey could catch you off guard and score buckets but also drop a triple double plus if you leave him open this time he'll make those shots while Lu Dort could drop 19-25+ points if he heats up cannot count out their sixth man in Isaiah Joe who's a flame thrower on threes lastly wallace is their two-way swiss army knife.

OKC has a deep bench like the amount of depth they got around Shai, Kenrich Williams is the ultimate glue guy that hustles, you got a 3 and D guy in Wiggins to Jaylin whose a stretch back up big that can pass who does the dirty work for the team too along with a playmaking savant in Micic.

Technically it's a pick ur poison type of shit the Thunder are very flexible in playstyles having a diverse pool of players that are all versatile in their respective positions, they even got wildcards that dont even play much from Poku, Mann, Sarr & Dieng heck they got reserve shooters in Waters, Bertans & Johnson

  6. The Thunder are my GOATS. The hungriest young team in the league with much to prove. The stats show it, and the team mindset shows it. These guys are for real.
