I know that Steph had already been playing like an MVP throughout that season but this game really felt like a coming out party not just for Klay, but for the team. It was them making a statement that they’ve arrived.

i think the 60 point game in december 2016 vs the pacers is overlooked in NBA history not only because he only dribbled the ball 11 times to score 60 points … but also klay didn’t even play a single second in the 4th quarter that game because the warriors were up by 33 is just crazy
with embiid’s 70 point game monday night so much is being made out of the 70 point games in this modern era of the NBA which is warranted as it’s only happened 5 times in the last 30 or so years
