buckle up boys… going to be an interesting few months!

They couldn’t have at least let us bask in the glow of Joe Barry’s firing for a few hours before breaking this?

We knew we were getting Doc. Just tell me how long he’s here for

  5. A great basketball mind, but what makes the Bucks think he’ll all of the sudden get over his terrible playoff history? Of course besides 2008.

huge moment in what will ultimately be the history of this franchise — if we don’t win another championship in the next ~3 years, it’s all going to come down to the last 24 hours.

When Giannis wins the finals with both Bud and Doc>>>>>>>>

  9. Interesting how fast this moved this may have been the plan for a few weeks.

Not a huge fan of this but fuck it we ball.

I’ve successfully coped myself into believing he’s a good choice. Welcome, Doc 🫡

    Arrrrrrrrrr. balls hurt.

im not rooting for this guy. He a drama queen and outdated. Hell he still hangs onto his “past record” to dodge the bullet from the media.

if nothing at all I want the Rivers-led Bucks to knock Philadelphia out of the second round lmao

  13. Please be a caretaker role, reset in the summer

We ended up from Bud to Doc.

    Jesus fucking christ.

  15. Doc can coach a super team and won a championship ship with one. Looking at that graphic going around of his blown losses is disingenuous. Most series he was facing the clearly better team and there’s a bunch of 2-1’s in there. Like are we gonna rag on a guy for blowing a 3-2 lead to the Lebron heat in 2012 with an aging Celtics team? Or 3-2 to 2010 Kobe? The magic team that went to the finals? The pistons team that won? He’s competent and as much as I had rose tinted glasses for AG he was hired under the contingency that we weren’t getting dame and brook and khris may leave. 23/24 was going to potentially get a down year but Horst had an amazing FA/trade summer. The down year would’ve given AG a year to figure it out and go from there. Horst makes a lot of swing for the fences moves and this was his biggest one that didn’t work out.

Overall, this is a good move for the bucks to win back the locker room and bring some competency. If Giannis and dame can’t win because a 25 year coach wasn’t good enough then they were never good enough to win.

Couldn’t even celebrate JB not coming back to the Packers and Rhys Hoskins singing with the Brewers fully before finalizing this news. Hope he’s able to turn his playoff record around with us but I’m so scared lol

Leslie Knope or Phil Dunphy? (im in stage 1 of grief)

  18. theodor98

Hope he jsut bring good changes and his time away from coaching made him a better coach

  19. Can someone tell me what is Giannis beef with Nurse, him calling the coaching shots can be a dangerous path

Don’t expect anything to change for this team defensively. We’re still a terrible perimeter defending team. The scheme probably changes a little bit, but you can’t change Khris’ knee injury history, or Dames’ poor perimeter defense. The only potential positive I see is a change in how the offense is run. Hopefully more Dame oriented, running the offense, and Giannis figuring out during these last 39 games how to complement Dame more than the other way around.

I’ll say the quiet part out loud.

Like him or not, it happened. If this is enough to make you stop supporting the Bucks, feel free to leave. Personally, I’m happy with this situation…

Can someone explain to me the immediate need to fire Adrian? All I can think of is giannis saying he ain’t good and the ownership took it as gospel
