The eye test would support this. We shouldn’t be falling back into bad habits from last season.

I mean it’s obvious. We looked checked out the entire game.

They’ve been coasting on their offense the past couple of weeks. The defense outside of Kawhi tonight wasn’t good and the rebounding was pathetic.

They beat the Lakers tonight off of talent instead of discipline. That won’t work against elite teams.

I never understood why teams do this so often.

Every team by now should know no matter how bad a team your playing or if their star players out you can never just assume your gonna get the W playing at 70%.

All coaches should say this before the game. Play hard no matter what team and no matter who is sitting out. Thee are all professional basketball teams and everyone is capable of winning without star players. That stuff just pisses me off.

  6. Just need to keep winning these ugly games. Fine with me.

Not making any attempt to score with a minute left was kinda funny. Like we’ll give you a fighter’s chance if you can get a score and a steal! I could tell PG was in pain. Two of those passes he look like he just froze in middair. Hope this isnt chronic and he should rest FRIDAY (not the game after)

I figured tbh I knew this was going to happen

we would have lost a game like this last season, a win is a win, lets go above 500 on this road trip and we good

I don’t think that’s a problem honestly – it’s the regular season, you can be sloppy at times aslong as you get the wins required.

He is right. We let the game get way too close. AGAIN.

duh. Our team needs a kick in the ass, they are playing well under how good they could be playing. we should have blown out the Lakers easily.

They covered a 9 point spread by 2 points. The beat expectations.

I just watched the game & the refs kept the Lakers in it. Austin Reaves fouled Kawhi every single possession he guarded him, every one he’s got a hand on Kawhi & the refs pretend it’s not happening. To start we had like a 28-14pt paint advantage on them, the Lakers still got more calls. We attacked the rim like 4x with contact and the Lakers got the first whistle near the 3pt line with minimal contact.

    These motherfuckers BLATANTLY cheat.

  15. That was obvious. This has been a theme since the 213 era began. They play to their competition.
