Is he actually not part of the pool? That’s… dumb. Like, for the team. I guess we have Embiid now (and hopefully he stays healthy), but we lost in the world cup in large part because we didn’t have anyone good enough to play the 5. Dray closed games for Pop in the last Olympics for a reason. He’s a 2 time gold medalist for a reason. He was integral to both teams and connects the game better than any other American big man.

Good. His actions have been toxic to say the least and Team USA should have as few distractions as possible. Dude’s run out of second chances (and that statement in and of itself is crazy).
Sucks for Team USA because he’d be a big asset for them, there’s a reason he was closing in the biggest moments of the gold medal game over Bam in 2021:

Now someone ask him why Steph was left off of the [player pool poster](https://x.com/usabasketball/status/1749907464600932442?s=46&t=SBW3XJi-eEDBr6FtvDfngg) lol they put Mikal Bridges, Paolo Banchero, and Dame on there but not Steph, wtf is that??

We don’t need a person like Draymond representing the USA. There is plenty of talent available among better-behaved players,
Unfortunately it’s justified because if he pulls what he usually does on the international stage, it will be a very bad look for basketball
Is the boxing team looking for new athletes for Paris?
The Warriors organization could learn a bit about this line of thinking.
Cough cough Klay.
Draymond lost his privilege to represent his country. Not because of his play, but his actions.
Might be a small consequence. But his behavior has been pretty bad this past two years.
Can’t blame them for not wanting him on the squad.
Way to go Grant.
Make the easy decision. Ugh.
He deserves his spot. Hope for your sake it does not bite you on the ass. His skills are irreplaceable.
On one hand I agree with GHill, on the other, Draymond has already paid his due, will he always be penalized 2x for past offenses?
This somehow doesn’t feel right, and I’ve been pissed at DG since the Poole punch. I guess this is the Draymond dilemma and we’re just living in it.
