Don’t even want to bother with him. Clearly a blind guy.

The national media went so hard on Chet by December because of how good both Chet and the Thunder were and how bad the Spurs were that it looked like the conversation was over. Now that Chet has come back to earth and Wemby has moved up a level since his switch to Center, the slow pivot has begun. However, people don’t want to seem too eager to move off of their initial take even though they’ve probably already changed their mind.

Truly detest JJ Redick. He truly is a dick.

  4. Maybe, maybe it’s like all these raige bait vids ? I guess engagement equals money to him and Wemby disdain makes him money ?

chet be droppin 8 pts and getting wins thats why they bring the W/L record for the first time ever. chet aint got no argument except for the team aspect.

  6. The argument jj and other people are making about it makes no sense. They are crediting chet for making his team better in terms of winning and saying it’s tougher to put up efficient stats on a winning team, almost completely ignoring the team around him facilitating his success. Not to mention he had a year to watch and fit into an already good team. They just look and see somewhat similar numbers but say hey well one team is winning, I’ll go with chet.

Wemby is a true rookie on an actually bad team who’s experimenting without an MVP candidate in shai who had a year to develop before he actually played, putting up better numbers and 10x better highlights. It just doesn’t make sense to make this a team based award when OKC was already on the rise and he’s tagging onto it a year after his actual rookie season.
