REPORT: Mavericks Interested In Bruce Brown Trade + Robert Williams Trade Rumors | Mavs Trade Rumors

We got some more Mavericks trade rumors to dive into but we wanted to ask you guys this question because hey a lot of you guys live in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex CP and I love barbecue I know a lot of you guys do too what is the

Best barbecue spot in the area if you don’t if you don’t live in DFW drop a different barbecue place Hutchins out in Frisco mckin very good A little terry black is always a good option as well I love a good Pecan Lodge uh I say for the

Vibe Smokey Rose is fantastic I think there’s better barbecue but great place to go eat let us know best barbecue in DFW if Matthew Peterson is watching we know his answer is dickons you’re watching Mavericks today it is Harrison grab and Jeffrey cooperstein one day closer to the NBA

Trade deadline two weeks from Tomorrow 15 days here we go man we’ve almost made it yeah it it’s a big time here in Mavs land and who knows what’s going to happen I was listening to a little podcast that Bobby Marx did he did a Dallas Mavericks trade guide go check

That out and he basically laid out all of the ways that the Mavericks can make a trade long story short it’s very complicated the Mavericks are going to have to get creative with what they do and it’s going to be it’s going to be interesting to see if they can get

Anything done to really improve this team well there is a report uh today that the Mavs could have some interest in Bruce Brown now that does come from old Michael Scot who’s been hit and miss over the years from Hoops height but an interesting name nonetheless coup

Someone who did help uh the Nuggets last year but when you think about fit he’s kind of an under siiz three a two that’s not a great three-point shooter he’s a good Defender he can handle the basketball but I just don’t think this feels a need and to quote our good

Friend Jax Barry in the office there is no no way in our opinion that this happens yeah I just don’t see the fit for Bruce Brown and the Mavericks I actually like the player and I think he’s pretty good uh after the trade from Indiana to Toronto he’s Toronto is

Apparently very open to trading him once again and look he’s been decent this year averaging 12 points per game four and a half boards kind of efficient from the field not a great three-point shooter but you know he brings it on the defensive end he’s a great culture guy I

Just don’t see the fit for the Mavericks here going forward especially given the money he’s making yeah he sign that twoyear $45 million deal it is a player option for next year but like 22 million I mean you’re going to have to move like you’re obviously not trading Tim

Hardaway Jr for Bruce Brown like I think you mentioned it like if it was CBA and Holmes yeah we’d do it but but Toronto would probably want Josh green and it’s like I think in a vacuum Bruce Brown helps you compete more than Josh green but like is it enough to like basically

Probably take him on as a rental only cuz you probably wouldn’t take on that team option next year exactly yeah probably not it would be you’d be renting him for 25 games and is it worth giving up those two guys who I I probably don’t think so and especially

When you already have this Log Jam at two guard where Kyrie’s playing the majority of the minutes there alongside Luca and then you have Hardaway along with Jaden Hardy and Seth Curry who Jason kid can’t decide who gets those minutes and oh yeah by the way you have

Dante exen who is looks like he’s on his way back may even play tonight against Phoenix yeah and look I you know I think if you brought in Bruce Brown he’d have to play three for you just based on the uh the players you have which he can but

Then you’re playing small there I just I don’t know and the MS are already small as it is yeah I don’t think it’s a great fit um again I like the player I do think he’s better than Josh green in a vacuum but that’s not really the

Question here it’s like is that the type of trade you’re making I I don’t think it is like if I’m trading Josh Green I’d probably rather do it for a bigger position of need would you trade for Bruce brown type y for yes type in for

No let us know in the comments section down below Koopa ey pretty clear here we’re going to go ahead and pass on that we’re typing our ends let us know what you would do right now definitely something you should do is get started with Factor meals America’s number one

About Robert Williams this is an interesting report Coupe uh he of course uh ended up in Portland this off season now let’s get this out of the way he’s out for the year yes will not play this season um but Chris Haynes threw it out

There that he could be a player that a team acquires with the idea of being a big part of their rotation next year here’s what Chris Haynes had to say there are some teams that are pondering making a move for Robert Williams now I know Robert Williams is at for the

Season but teams feel like he would be somebody that could be on the cheap right now and allow him to continue recovering continue rehabbing in hopes that he can blossom into the Robert Williams that we’ve seen and it’s a shame he’s out for the year coup because

Like I think Robert Williams would be a great fit I think he’d be a fantastic yeah being the compliment to Derrick Lively Robert Williams is a guy that doesn’t have to play a lot of minutes to make an impact he’s come off the bench before he’s in the starting lineup so he

Can kind of do a little bit of both the problem is he just hasn’t been able to stay healthy throughout his career he he’s been injured basically almost every season in the last four he hasn’t played a full season at all just 35 games last season including just six this year when

He’s on the court he’s very effective though he’s a good scorer on the inside he’s a lob threat he’s also a good rebounder and he can block some shots for you as well that 2122 campaign when he stayed mostly healthy but did fight through injury in the playoffs I mean he

Was Unreal in the playoffs as a rim protector he played absolutely fantastic in that run to the finals for Boston so he’s a very capable guy he mixes it up as well which I like from a defensive presence so I like the fit I mean I

Don’t think this would happen but I did say the other day and I want to stay true to the to the idea of it’s not just about this year like if you can get him for like cheap cheap I don’t hate the idea now it’s not going to help you this

Year that if that’s the only move you make you’re kind of conceding you’re not going to make a run this year but I mean what if it’s like ran Holmes in a second for Robert Williams like you’re telling me that even Maxi kba in a second for

Robert William like I would be intrigued now I would be frustrated if that’s the only move they made at this deadline but I can’t completely dismiss the idea if I’m being honest because if he’s back healthy next year your Center position is you’re good like you don’t have to

Even be concerned Dwight pal could stay be your third Center which is valuable because we know Robert Williams has an injury history if it’s super cheap I wouldn’t close the door on that I think you hit it right on the head like it would be a great deal for the future and

I really think that Williams if you could get him on the cheap I would do it but the problem is the Mavericks need help right now and I think they’re going to be more opportunistic looking for things like that instead of a deal for the future now like you said if Williams

Is available for kleba in a second I’d consider it yeah I mean knowing the Mavs and Luca and you know how impatient he he is as a competitor Etc I I don’t think this would be if they did this move I would highly doubt it’s the only

One yes uh but as just a educated fan consumer Etc like knowing what could help this team out Beyond this year if you told me he’s back and healthy and can give you 50 plus games a season your backup center like I mean that’s that’s something that very much intrigues me so

Knowing he’s out would you guys still trade for Robert Williams type t for trade type P for pass I’m going to kind of cheat and say I think it depends on what the deal is but I I would lean te if I don’t have to give up a first and

If it’s like if it’s just kba or holes I mean I’d probably make that deal so I’m going to type t for trade all right the Mavs and suns are back tonight uh Luca’s first child will be in the building so uh uh welcome Devon Booker Luka

Questionable with a little back thing I think when Jaylen Brown kind of dropped him he may have tweaked his back a little bit something tells me with Deon book on the building he’s he he will be playing Kyrie also with the thumb sprain questionable I think he’s going to play

As well so M should be all hands on deck Phoenix has gotten hot here too they’re playing pretty well last couple of weeks so uh big game tonight Mavericks need to steady the ship a little bit as they’ve uh gone through a bit of turbulence recently so we’ll keep tabs on that one

As well be sure to subscribe for more videos as we get closer to the NBA trade see you guys

On today’s edition of Mavericks trade rumors, we discuss the Bruce Brown report from Hoopshype which said the Dallas Mavericks have interest in making a Bruce Brown trade before the 2024 NBA trade deadline. While Mavs GM Nico Harrison may have interest in Bruce Brown the player, trading for him would be very difficult unless it was for players like Maxi Kleber or Richaun Holmes. Mavs trade rumors will also focus on finding a power forward or backup center, and today Robert Williams trade rumors have surfaced via NBA insider Chris Haynes. The Robert Williams injury will keep him out for the 2023-24 NBA season, but could the Mavs make a Robert Williams trade for him to backup Dereck Lively II next season? We dissect the latest Mavericks news and Mavericks rumors before Luka Doncic and Devin Booker face off in Mavericks vs. Suns tonight!

  1. nobody under 6-8 or over 28 unless they take super Dwight and Maxie misalots worthless self's so Holmes can play lol these 2 can't really think they are better than Holmes lol that's funny.

  2. Let’s be honest Mavs doesn’t have a roster to win a championship right now. I am not saying that can’t make a run but they just can’t compete with back court led by rookie center. Mavs need to trade their 2027 first round pick for 2024 first round pick so they could draft Bronny James

  3. Get Williams and why aren’t we talking with Brooklyn they have the type of sf or pf we need we have to many ball handlers

  4. I thought before that the blazers probably just give up WIlliams or release him due to being the Mr. Glass of the NBA(KP Is Brett Favre Level Iron Man compared to this guy). Or maybe a 2nd rounder with expiring would get him and the mavs could cross their fingers that he would be injury free by Playoff time.

Well that lasted a couple games and was out for the season.

This only hurts prior value assessment and now he's gone from Mr. Glass to Mr. Shattere

  5. Get to the point guys in the beginning, do your bbq quiz in the end – simply neither interesting nor fun. Otherwise keep it up.

  6. A player who is injured and won't play all season and prone to injuries and a small forward similar to Green and Jones Jr…doesn't seem like a good deal.

  7. Don't see a fit for Bruce Brown??? So the team that needs all the help they can get on defense you don't see a fit for a lockdown wing defender??? Makes perfect sense.

  8. Mavericks Nico Harris Mark Cuban they are confusing this franchise will never go nowhere every second every day is a different trade scenario

  9. If robert william is cheap do it. The Mavs are stuck on this deadline. They cant do much. This move will help a lot for next year.

  10. barbecue spot go to kooleys its amazing but trade yes get robert williams and leave bruce along and trash players j green and if you not going to play hardy trade him

  11. We don’t need neither Bruce or Robert Williams our guards are ok we actually have too many guards we need a star big no way this much of a load should be on lively his rookie year he has no help get us a legitimate backup

  12. As a MFFL times infinity ,

They should trade for 6ft 11 wing Luka Samanic out of Utah as their 3 and D Hustler. And then sign Kai Jones.

Trade Kyrie for the biggest haul ever for a 30 + year old , then sign Roddy Beaubois after for nostalgia and immediate benefits.

  13. for Williams it would probably be 3. team deal. Portland – Holmes/hardy Hornets : Maxey Mavs: Rob Williams, Bridges, Mark will

  14. We need bigger players right now for rebounding – this and Luka ball is what’s killing the team
