It’s not often you get an off day followed by a practice day at this stage of the the NBA season how good was it to to have a rest day followed by a practice for your group uh it was great I hope everybody enjoyed their off day

Uh I know I did and uh yeah just getting a come back in here see everybody fresh legs and just ready to uh you know go to Memphis what was the focus for your group today what what were you guys able to accomplish uh I think just some team

Building some on off the court with Concepts I think we did uh 30 minutes on the court 30 minutes in the weight rooms as a team two different groups and just got to uh work on some stuff offensively defensively and then spend some time together in the way room working out and

Then uh got to finish it with an activity so it was good as guys come back from injury and lineups are being worked out and whatnot rotations are being ped again is it challenging to play with that many that many lineups and different faces or how do you view

That uh I mean it is a challenge for everybody um you know you got mooving pieces guys in guys out um you know but you that’s the NBA that’s what you know we got to deal with as a team and I think everybody just is ready to you

Know step in and uh whatever is needed they’re willing to do uh so yeah you know you got to um I think you got to look at it just through a lens of like you know before the allstar break you know still a lot of time left to where

We can get back everyone healthy and you know really make a run so we just want everyone to get as healthy as they can and you know hopefully we can have some consistency you know later on how important is is building that consistency with lineups I think as a

Team you guys only have like three lineups that have played at least 100 minutes together so far this season how important is it to kind of build that consistency and consistent playing groups the team succeed as uh I think it’s really important um just because

You know guys have have more of a feel of where they you know should be at on the court or you know how they should play with this group and uh with this whatever line lineup that they’re with and I think it just helps everybody when

You have that consistency so um I think we’re just working towards that and uh you know hopefully we get there may not be on the top of your priority list but Team USA called me to a finalist for its roster for Paris how do you feel about

That uh I think it’s I think it’s cool you know I haven’t really been focused on I did see it well they let me know that they I was going to be on there so uh you know it’s a list of all great players and you know they’ll they’ll end

Up selecting the 12 that they see fit best coming off of a game coming off of a game like like Monday what’s what’s the response like that first day first that first day back in practice when together like like what what’s kind of response to a game like game like that

Uh I I think just on to the next on to the next um you can’t really dwell on something like that I don’t think um it’s just so many games you know you got to move on um you know we got a good stretch of games coming up here um some

Some games that we you know have a good chance to win so try to focus in and get ready to get some wins
