I know the Spurs have had some amazing players throughout our franchise history. I’m talking 6-7 guys that a lot of franchises have never even seen 1 (one) of.

But this man, Victor Webanyama is unlike anything this franchise or this city has ever seen. For all those in this comment section being negative or hating, embrace the Stan culture right now. Wemby is the fucking the Truth. We need to tell the world.

  2. Southern_sky

Wemby outgunned Chet which was about 90% of what I cared about happening tonight.

    3pt defense putrid

Blake did about as well of a job against SGA you could realistically hope for

Collins, Keldon, Malaki < traffic cones

Lost by less than the last matchup so it’s progress?

    Get well soon Tre

  3. Feisty_Pride_1408

Chet Holmgren is Victor Wembanyama’s son

    JWill IS JDub

OKC not missing from downtown and having a plethora of PGs killed us

Imagine SGA on the Spurs. Now wake up

Collins got the lowlight reel down pat

    Jeremy a non-factor but it’s one game

Wesley over Malaki seal of approval

    Mamu and Devonte sighting

Spurs without Wemby = skill issue, poach all them ex-ACs back

    Didn’t lose by 40

  4. radicalcamel

    Wemby embarrassed Chet ✅

    Thunder embarrassed us ❌

  5. spurs777_

Tough loss, but OKC is a well constructed team and the 2nd youngest which is the scariest part. Most of their team is 3&D guys. We’re simply not there yet.

On a positive note, Wesley looked pretty decent in his first start.

  6. UTRAnoPunchline

The Thunder are the first team I’ve seen to double/triple Wemby from the start of the game

  7. TimDunkinDonut

We literally have one guy on this team that knows how to throw a basic entry pass and it showed tonight.

  8. Victor wins. He’s the ROY. If Chet wasn’t a try hard in the 4th in a 30 point game it would’ve been even more of a lopsided matchup.

Good luck relying on guys named Isiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins in the playoffs OKC, we’ll see y’all in Cancun after y’all’s first round exit

  9. Thunder fan here, Wemby’s legit. Yall got a good future

  10. oftentroller

Trade deadline is coming, make some moves man.

  11. carelesssportsfan89

Man zach Collins has to go liked him at the beginning of the season but he has got worse as a player as a season goes on

  12. The talent between these teams is incomparable. Shoutout Blake Wesley though

  13. 13thcross

This team looks different without Tre. The offense looked absolutely dead. Though Blake Wesley’s intensity is awesome. Guy was unplayable last year but now is one of the best if not the best perimeter defender on the team.

  14. Wemby was getting in Chet’s face 🤣 LOVE to see it!!

  15. BananaRepublic_BR

Pretty painful loss. However, on the up-side, I liked that Wemby was so dialed in. Dude came to battle. Also liked watching the Thunder play. This is the first time I’ve watched a game of their’s and I’m not at all surprised they have the second-best record in the West. Amazing to watch.

  16. Dougie needs to be traded ASAP to a contender that needs shooting. He does not fit our timeline and sad to see him add onto our POS defense

  17. aaronlovescrypto

Kinda wish Pop didnt lean so hard into the tank tonight, is what it is

  18. OttoOverKlayAnyDay

This team’s bench is literally insanity, and Keldon getting sent there only made him worse and kept that heaping pile of burning trash the same. I can probably write a dissertation with everything wrong with it but I’ll save everyone the eye pain.

  19. Wemby vs Chet was fun. Both guys went at it at the end, you love to see that fight in the young guys

  20. artunarmed

The ROTY ‘race’ is equivalent to me and my Corolla vs Max Verstappen.

  21. pompyyy099

Chet vs wemby is like Russel vs wilt. Chet Russel will win the games because he has the better supporting cast but victor chamberlain will win the individual matchups head to head. Hopefully the results will be different in the future

  22. ClippersToSeattle

That contract we gave to collins is worrying. Hope he bounces back

  23. fireemblem4812

Honestly this just shows how valuable Tre Jones is as a player. I figured between OKC’s record and Tre Jones being out with an injury we’d probably lose this, so I’m not really too disappointed, that’s just how it goes sometimes.

  24. Lone_Star_122

A lot of Thunder fans are incredibly cool, but jeez some of them are insufferable. They clearly have an incredible team, but should probably relax until their team actually accomplishes something.

  25. thedam100

Wemby was fun. Did what we thought he would do.

Bench was absolutely embarrassing. To go down and get blown out by as much as -35 at one point with Wemby on the bench is insane. Not worth going into.

Vassell having a nice 3 game stretch. 3, 20 points nights. Wesley stepped up to the moment. Was easily the third best player on the floor tonight. Proud of his growth. But man we missed Tre tonight for sure.

  26. Lone_Star_122

Im still not convinced I want a single player outside of Wemby in this team long term. There’s some players who flash individual talent, but the collective basketball IQ is abysmal.

  27. diabolical-sun

While I would watch basketball occasionally as a kid, I didn’t truly start following until 2012. So 2012-present are where my core memories are.

Which is why I fucking hate losing to the Thunder. I can take a lot of losses in stride; Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, the fucking Lakers. All of those I can brush off as a bummer. But losing to the Thunder pisses me off so much. Doesn’t matter if they’re 1st in the conference and we’re last. Each loss to them ruins my night.

    Goodnight, everyone.

  28. imnamedafteraboat

Giddey receiving the Kawhi treatment was hilarious.

  29. It’s not Chet vs. Victor. It’s the MVP-candidate, SGA vs. the rook, Victor. Kid’s amazing.

  30. Doghouse12e45

I need someone to make a Highlight reel of Wemby DESTROYING Chet ASAP

  31. DevilGunManga

I don’t want to see any bench player of tonight game be on the roster next season. Yes, Keldon included.

  32. StrategyWaste3257

Wemby was a BEAST! He definitely played with a purpose. Shout out to Devin and Blake, the only players that had a meaningful game.

Not so bummed about the outcome though, Chet played smart and team basketball that led to winning. He knows Shai can rip the game wide open because no one could really stop him from our end. Giving props to OKC they didn’t let the hype change the way they played.

    Onto the next! GSG!
