Julius you have my full support bro. Go do something special and you’ll be in the top tier of NYC sports royalty forever. The pieces are there. Let’s set this city on fire in June.

The one thing I will never understand is how so many ppl invested so much time and energy into disparaging this dude’s character. Criticizing his bad performances on the court is one thing, but I always felt the constant attacks on him as a person was pretty unwarranted and wild…especially given the fact that by all accounts from coaches, teammates (current & former), and beat writers that he’s an all around good dude that actually cares about the team and City and prioritizes winning over all. And that’s not to mention his charitable efforts for New Yorkers off the court.

Has he had his moments when emotions boiled over? Yeah a few…but I always thought I came from simply being passionate and holding himself to a higher standard. And for Knicks fans to call that out as if our most revered players (Ewing, Starks, Oakley, Reed, Mason, Sprewell, Harper, Camby, LJ) didn’t do the same and wayyyy worse is pretty wild too lmao.

The “team cancer that kills team morale,” “selfish player who only cares about getting his stats,” “hates his teammates,” “terrible leader,” narratives were always very overblown and not at all factual….and I’m glad that more ppl who were around the org are coming to his defense.

It’s crazy how much i actually respect and like Scott Perry now

In the Mills&Perry years i would have never imagined that

Perry makes a very important point – not specifically about Randle – but about how hard it is to play in NYC. When the Knicks look for a Superstar, they need to be sure that the player can handle the bright lights here.

I’m just glad he got past whatever was fucking his head up a couple years ago, family issues or whatever. He looks a lot happier and focused now.

We’re all Knick fans here, and this guy was the GM that brought Randle here in the first place, but every word he said was true. Randle has come a long way, and he still elevating his game. This year he has been a more willing passer and it’s obvious the offense has benefitted from it, especially earlier in the season. The year before, it was clear to me that he was handling the trash talk better than before. Then there is the all nba year, like what do you not see? Or maybe it’s a group of people trying to say “I was right about Randle 3 years ago” lame mfs.

Randle is a throwback to the 90’s Knicks. Love him!

There’s no Knick I want to win a ring with us more than Julius

this cant be true, julius walks 0.2 mph slower than the average 6’9 nba player, therefore he must be unmotivated 🤓
