Alperen sengun is taller than jock landale

Look at the height difference in this image. The growth spurt is real guys, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Our former 6’9 center is now a big dude at 6’11 250.

  1. I don’t think height matters right now. That was important before because we don’t know how they will play before the draft or as rookies, but we have already seen what he can do against whomever he is playing at his current height. So it doesn’t matter to me.

Y’all get ruffled up over the dumbest shit.

  3. It doesn’t truly matter but:
    #Camera angle 📐…

We’ve gotten to the point in a players progression where they’ve suddenly progressed in height as well

I like sengun as much as the next guy but this is kinda dumb . I mean, who really cares what the actual number is as long as we know he’s big enough to play his position.

  6. Actually sengun said on Paul George’s podcast that he grew a bit after entering the nba and is now about 6’11”, so I don’t know if this camera angle means anything but Sengun himself has talked about this.

I’m not really sure about these posts saying the height doesn’t matter etc. height and length will always matter in the nba on the defensive end. Obviously sengun has been crushing on offense and has played good defense rebounding well getting deflections etc. resulting in steals. I’d think the height is part of that result, especially with the rebounding and also the offensive efficiency to some extent. But more than anything else it’s the opportunity and udoka’s coaching this year over the nightmare Silas era that has unlocked this beast.
