Steph Curry on All-Star starter snub: “Those two guys (Luka/Shai) are playing amazing, they deserve it. Hopefully I’m there in whatever capacity, but to still be doing it at this stage is always a challenge. Can’t ever take it for granted how hard it is to be recognized in that way every year”

Classy response, but wouldn’t expect anything else.

there are people in the earlier threads who are saying that fox and ant is better than him.

put steph in either kings or wolves then they are better than they currently are. these people are stupid.

    He’s 36 in a few months time.

There’s a new batch of superstars coming through. This day was always going to come.

    Great response. Professional response.

  4. recyclacount

Good response. I’m a little surprised he didn’t get the legacy vote like Bron got.

  5. “snub”

Lol everyone knew Luka and Shai deserved it.

  6. AluminiumLlama

It’s not a snub when the two people starting instead of him have been better and deserve to start.

wasn’t a snub. Luka and Shai have it on merit. Curry has nothing left to prove and you’re regarded if you think not being an ASG starter but still a reserve is somehow a detriment at this stage of his career

Steph starting his “still doing it at this stage” era 🥲

When the actual athlete who puts in the body of work has a more mature and measured response than online fans with a parasocial attachment imagining perceived grievances.

Is there incentives in contracts for starter as opposed to just being named? Otherwise, I just don’t see why anyone cares. Kinda wish they would just get rid of this starter thing and just name whoever made it.

OP a loser for this title, it wasn’t a snub

That was no snub. Obviously Luka-Shai deserved to be selected over Curry this season.

Both are playing better, putting up significantly better numbers and their teams having more successful seasons.

bruh he’s gonna make the team cmon now lmaoo

OT but it’s funny seeing Knicks fans saying “Dame over Brunson?” Like if they just skipping over Mitchell to go to Brunson.

  15. If his fans are half as intelligent as curry himself, i wouldnt hate golden states that much

It is wild how kids just fell off for Curry now that the Dubs are mid.

This is why I trip when people talk about what players should be doing and how it’s easy for them, from Steph, Harden, Westbrook, Bron, whatever star you want to talk shit about realize they are playing their hardest, they are preparing as best they can, if they could be better, they would be. I love to just admire greatness. Steph is already 35, we don’t know how many elite years he has left but I’m going to enjoy watching him play as long as he can

He’s turning 36 and still an all star

Calling it a “snub” is absurd.

    SGA and Luka deserve it.

Snub doesn’t mean, “Not selected.” It means “undeservingly not selected.”
