> In addition to the Knicks and Lakers, league personnel believe Brogdon has another team with legitimate interest in his services: Houston, which has plenty of former Boston staffers who overlapped with Brogdon during his season with the Celtics. Head coach Ime Udoka’s Rockets are also one of the teams that is considering a move for injured Portland big man Robert Williams, sources said.

Portland is rebuilding. They are going to want picks.

No way Blazers trade Brogdon unless we give up one of our young guys, idk if we should trade any of them yet imo. Though, the Rockets being interested in him might mean we’re looking to upgrade from our starting shooting guard 👀

Robert Williams would be such a good pick up, I’m super high on him despite the injuries

  4. If they are willing to take guys that are not getting minutes or injured, sure. Any of our young core or future draft picks beyond maybe a late 1st or some second rounders, then they can kick rocks.

Feels like two guys you go after when you already have a hierarchy of stars.

  6. They can have 2 second rounders, tate, jock, an holiday. They get a good back up to ayton.
    Well take williams, brogdon

Don’t believe the spin about how much a team like Portland wants back for guys like Brogdon and Williams

    – Brogdon was traded for the #30 pick 6 months ago, and then failed his physical with the Clippers. He’s an injury prone 31yo solid 3rd guard; Portland isn’t getting a real FRP for him, maybe a super late one or two good SRP’s

    – Robert Williams is really good but doesn’t play basketball. Like, he’s closer to Lonzo Ball than a reliable presence. There’s a significant chance he won’t play much ever again. Meanwhile he’s owed $37M over the next 3 years. His contract is probably a negative asset

As long as we don’t give up the picks for aging players

Let me remind you guys that we drafted Josh Christopher due to his connection to Jalen Green.

i was banging on the table this off-season to grab williams. he’s the perfect back up big (if he can stay healthy….)

  11. There is no way we would give up Tari, Cam or Amen right?
