    Couple thoughts from tonight’s game.

The effort level in the 4th quarter was great. The disparity in talent and execution between the Clippers and Raptors was pretty obvious tonight but nobody hung their heads and gave up. Game was reasonably close until the last couple minutes when we just ran out of steam.

Scottie and RJ weren’t crazy efficient or anything, but they grinded out buckets. I definitely believe in these guys moving forward. Hopefully we can put more defense and spot up shooting around them to make things a bit easier.

Time for Gradey to move ahead of GTJ in the rotation.

Sadly if Gary isn’t scoring, he’s doing nothing. At least Dick tries hard on D & offers potential playmaking.

    Tonight’s consolation prize…. Luka’s 73 beating Joel’s 70 for the season high this year

    Really like Gradey.

He doesn’t need to hit his shots to make an impact on the game. That’s what automatically raises his ceiling

  5. sinoforever

Gradey played well, RJ was able to score against the best, good loss.

  6. I won’t forget that RJ spin. Brought me back to the Siakam days…

Which was only a few weeks ago!

Overall great 4th quarter, the Raps seemed to be a lot more locked in there. Hopefully they can carry that over into the next game.

At this point, I’m just watching to see some nice highlights from our young guys. If we win it’s be nice, otherwise we just riding out the season.

Well, they got outplayed by a better team (as expected) but they didn’t quit. Take it for what it is, good reps for our young squad. Nice to see Gradey looking more confident on both ends, doesn’t look so lost lately. Also looks at least 5lbs heavier than he did a few months ago.

  8. FinalMalus

Dick in the rotation is looking more and more comfortable—a good building block game for him.

Once the Raptors were clearly out of the game, I mostly just had the score in the background and watched other games. Pascal leading the Pacers to beat the Suns was awesome, as was watching Luka score over 70.

  10. Possible hot take, but given the personnel out on the court and that our shots weren’t really falling, I think there was a lot to like in that game. Effort felt pretty consistent, we kept it close in the third, didn’t seem too sluggish.

Scottie played great, RJ had a rough few quarters but seemed to correct after half, and we made them play their starters for basically the whole game.

Shoutout Norm too, guy was killing us down the stretch. Love that man.

Glad Gradey got meaningful run time – at least getting 20 MPG should be the absolute floor in this tanking path

Some were saying Scottie was the best player on the team pre-trades…yeesh

  12. I know we still probably would have lost but not having Quickley and Poeltl is tough. At least Gradey is looking good.

    4th Quarter Barnes 😤😤 . Amazing game in the 4th! 💪

Too bad there were 3 other quarters..

  14. Maya-Inca-Boy

Scottie stat padding after the clippers were done with the game and Kawhi went in the locker room to get a nap in.

  15. GuessableSevens

Didn’t watch the game but I’m getting concerned about Scottie putting up dud performances. Was it an effort problem today or did he just get locked up? 3P shooting is regressing as expected too.
