Ime Udoka on Jalen Green’s scoring explosion in Charlotte
Uh you know kind of we we’ve gone back to we’ll take guys being a little less fresh to be sharper as as far as practice time and so we’re getting after a little bit more and reminding guys of what made us successful early and so um they’re you know doing good and and
Trying obviously you know tar Jabari Dylan some guys being in and out affects us a little bit but as you see we got some guys with depth some young guys that are eager to play and when they guard at that level and get out and run it’s a different ball game
Startor when jayen was struggling did you have to work to try and keep his confidence up yeah I mean we would have talks in some one-on-one sessions all that but I mean coaches do that every day with them our thing is continue to be aggressive and and take the right
Shots make the right play Not Just rely on your offense to dictate you know your game and so you know make the right play continue to guard help rebound all the things that you can other ways you can impact the game and then the shots are going to fall eventually he’s taking
Good shots getting great looks and so now it’s just Fallen a little bit at a higher clip and he’s obviously know being more aggressive and so with him was uh I’ve always said being well-rounded not just letting offense dictate his game and so big time scorer obviously and when he gets that going
Everything is much easier for him right now Fred is second in the league in minutes per game is that kind of the work play you envision for him or do you kind of consider stealing that back yeah you wouldn’t like to I mean a big part was Z man being out those 20
Plus games early with the injury and um while we were figuring out some things he was really obviously efficient and we relied heavily upon him so don’t want to have his numbers that high something he’s kind of used to playing hi in Mes in Toronto so he always he
Never wants to come out of the game basically but um as much as we can hitting our men back and getting other guys contributing to that level um we can shave those down as much as possible and great to see them in the 20s tonight
A A man mentioned to me that um you talked to him about like his off ball play what do you see from him in that yeah finding spots and ways to impact the game is he’s so used to having it but if you’re out there with Jaylen and
Fred and the guys that handle and Al’s getting his touch in the side you obviously are going to be off the ball some um finding ways to slash and attack being a dunker get on the glass and then when he does have it pushing the pace
And off and transition so I think he’s learning his way there um taking the shots that he wants more so than what the defense is trying to dictate him to take um and you can see him growing game by game very cool thank thank you thank you

Alperen Sengun Struggled against a G League Team
Don't get so worked up about Jalen's good night. Nobody was guarding him. Even with Jalen's poor season numbers, teams do make plans to stop him every night. Good teams, anyway.
Jg is nothing else than a nasty boy
