Ty Lue says he doesn’t know if (Kawhi and PG) will be available tomorrow night vs the Celtics

“Ty Lue says Paul George and Kawhi Leonard came out of the game good tonight, and limited them a bit with a back to back tomorrow night. Ty says he doesn’t know if everyone will be available tomorrow night vs the Celtics”

B2B in Toronto then Boston is pretty tough. PG is also dealing with a groin injury. Sounds like they may rest tomorrow’s game.

Whatever I just want a win in this reg season with no potential injuries. Save the showdown in the playoffs

Adam Silver will be giving his annual All-Star weekend press conference soon and someone needs to ask him about the IST’s impact on the schedule. It seems the weird December scheduling as resulted in way more B2Bs, or at least strange scheduling quirks, in subsequent months.

Ultimately, a spike in interest in December probably isn’t worth the negative impact it has on marque games due to scheduling (like the Celtics and Bucks from a few weeks ago, the Celtics vs the Heat this week, and potentially this Celtics vs Clippers game.)

Some reporter will have to do the actual research to and find data that actually suggests the IST scheduling has resulted in more B2Bs impacting marque matchups. Because if it isn’t the case in reality, I promise you the league has that data and will use it to defend their decisions. (I think it ultimately will prove to be the case tho.)

The Clippers of this era in particular are a team that I feel we have never had both squads fully healthy when we play. It’s a shame because we’ve had some epic regular season games against GSW and Minnesota in the regular season over the past few years, but we never get the full experience with the Clippers. I don’t blame them, I would want us to rest our guys on a B2B as well, it’s just bad timing and bad luck over a long period of time to not be able to see the “duos” battle it out.
