Marcus Smart or Vince Williams Jr?

My question is: between this 2 players who do you think should start next season? Personally I think Smart is a better player, but Vince fits better is the 1st squad. Having Ja, Bane, Williams, JJJ, Adams and then Smart coming off the bench would be the best for me(if you don’t trade for a 3, that is). What do you guys think

  1. Marcus has more experience under his belt reading and defending against the best. Vince should be first man off the bench.

Vince for me. Smart will be our main backup PG and fill in other slots from time to time.

Doesn’t matter, either BC or Vince (depending on size and matchup) can close the game when Adams is sat in crunch time like usual. Really doesn’t matter who’s starting, but who’s closing. And Smart/Vince need to close together with the our core 3 most of the time next season.

It HAS to be Vince. This is my one concern for when the team is fully healthy – Marcus is great but he’s also an ELITE shot misser who loves to chuck it. His usage will absolutely take away from shots Ja, Bane and Jaren should be taking – it seems hack to compare him to Dillon but they are very similar players in a lot of ways. He will go cold on nights and teams will leave him open on an island and he will not hesitate to keep laying bricks. This will hurt us in the playoffs. I’m telling yall this will become a problem if we don’t get ahead of it and crown Vince the 5th starter. Vince never takes a bad shot and you could argue he can make the same impact Smart would on defense and all the other intangibles. Please people I beg you… Vince over Marcus!!!!
