I don’t want to hear anyone saying we need to get a back up 5 anymore
they should just make philly @ denver as the first game of the season next year. wanna see joe in denver bad
At least the Celtics are getting destroyed?
“I’m a sixers fan but Embiid’s a coward” 🤓🤓🤓
How are there so many pussies in our own fanbase just hating on the team for 3 upvotes
Modern NBA sucks. I really wanted to see this match up in Denver but fuck it I guess.
Your guy is a coward and a bum who can’t make it out of the first round. Can’t even sit on the bench. Also your city smells, Denver stay up
Denver Nuggets Defeat Delaware Bluecoats in a close fought battle. Fans of Denver claim moral victory over Joel Embiid.
Crazy how NBA fans on fucking Instagram are way less braindead about Embiid than r/nba
Takeaways:
Backup C is not a priority. Reed has his flaws, but it’s poor asset management to try to upgrade him over other spots. He’s serviceable.
Pat Bev is more capable of running the second unit than given credit for. He should survive the deadline.
A backup ballhandler is still an area of need we should address.
We also really need a volume 3P shooter. If Melton comes back healthy he helps both of the areas above, but not enough to contend.
Another perimeter defender would go a long way.
Given the above, Brogdon or Caruso still make the most sense to me.
Celtics game making me feel a lot better at the moment
The real takeaway is how the fuck do they get Paul Reed this engaged in every matchup.
Sans the Big 3, lost on the road to the defending champs (who beat they at home recently) by only 6 points. This team just might be enough this season.
Think they just need one more guy who is slightly better than Melton, but it can be a smaller or bigger guy, and then just need a ball handler or defender — whoever they didn’t get as that starter-level player. They just need “a dude” but still don’t really know who that is beyond hating most of the usual names brought up (especially bummy Dejounte).
But again, that was a really fun game, might be the best Process-y game since The Process.
Incredible effort tonight. I’ve been a little disappointed in Paul Reed this season but man did he show up to play tonight. Best performance of his career, was awesome to watch
As for the Embiid shit.. in the grand scheme of things this game does not matter in the long run. It only matters to the mainstream NBA media and insecure Denver fans. We have zero history with this franchise and the fact ESPN milks this “rivalry” is a microcosm of how broken NBA discourse has become. Any Sixer fans that are saying shit like “I’m a fan but Embiid’s a pussy” or anything along those lines can fuck right off. You’re the same fans who will bitch in April and May that he’s not healthy in the playoffs again. That’s all that matters at the end of the day. Fuck the MVP, fuck the awards, fuck a January game in Denver. Get right for the playoffs
Hell of a fight lads
Oh mannnn our next 3 games are all 10 pm… Imma be one tired boy
OUT THE MUD BITCH
I’d be pissed as a Nuggets ticket holder to spend $500 plus to watch Sixers scrubs. Totally understand their frustration tonight
They fought like hell. Great game.
Should we cry about Jokic’s flops? No, because that’s his fucking job.
Kelly Oubre was a missed and one call from being the second Sixer to score more than Jokic tonight despite our entire team shooting fewer free throws than he even attempted
Wonder if the MVP playing would have affected the outcome
Feeling good about our depth and Nicks coaching after tonight. Great effort
Love seeing Jokic borderline admonishing the Denver crowd for not appreciating Embiid’s greatness
Paul fuckin reed

I like Jokic. He’d be more tolerable on a team like the Cavs, Heat or even the Knicks (maybe not)
