Leaders in 3PM this season. Two of our guys in the top 5

I just can’t bring myself to want THJ traded. He’s the king of bone headed plays and trash defence (outside of taking charges)

But man I feel that he’s so crucial to out offense. And will be even more so in the post season

I mean with THJ, his boneheaded plays cost us more games then he wins us. He plays in a way the offense doesn’t flow and team loses its rhythm. Imo and through many metrics he’s a net negative even on the Knicks he did the same and was a negative. His abysmal defence and lack of effort/size doesn’t help as well.

If Luka is a 38% high volume 3 point shooter that’s game over for the league.

  3. THJ is useless, if he isn’t making his shots. He makes studi decision, plays bad defense, can’t really drive to the basket, isn’t a good rebounder, isn’t a good passer.

Yes he can have games when he’ll get hot from 3 and will look really great. And he will take (and sometimes make) difficult and important shots. But even then, he’ll be bad at everyting else. And when he’s missing those shots he only offers spacing. While this is important, a lot of cheaper players can do this.

I’d keep him, if we actually had players that can do more things and he wouldn’t have to be our 3rd best player on offense. But we don’t and he’s one of the few players that might actually have some trade value.

I feel like people are arguing different things whenever they debate THJ.

He is a great 6th man because he can get hot and make a huge impact.

He is a terrible 3rd option because he doesn’t help defensively and can’t put the ball on the floor.

If he is demanding big money and to be a starter then he can go, but if he’s happy with coming off the bench then I don’t see any problem with him. We need to work on other things like a backup big and a starting 4. Not get rid off a solid 6th man.

THJ is so fucking hot and cold it’s so annoying to watch

Hardaway is just a shorter Christian wood. Scores decently but at the cost of the teams flow. Can’t play defense. Extremely low basketball iq. below league average ts%. Terrible/unwilling passer. Outside of being a good free throw shooter and the occasional drawn charge, he is a net negative to the team. He’ll get red hot 10 or so games a season, but is that worth 18 mil? Absolutely not. There’s a reason we still made the wcf when he was injured.

Tim is not reliable for being one of the highest paid guys on the team and he plays no D

If he could pick his shots better he’d at least be an offensive weapon but he can’t do that either, throws up far too many bad shots and bad decisions

  8. The thing with Tim is when he’s hot, he’s bad at defense, and when he’s cold, he’s bad at defense. Basically, he’s bad 75% of the time he’s on the court.
