History to score at least 100 points and average a triple double in two games and what luk Luca even playing last night I think is a surprise uh apparently him and Jason kid had a talk before the game and Luca wanted to give it a go and made

It very clear that he wanted to give it a go I was surprised that he ended up playing in this game but the Mavericks fall short in a game work we kind of expected to after they put all their eggs in that game in Atlanta and Luca

You know broke all kinds of Records so uh they have a big game tomorrow night against the Orlando Magic last night though Grant Williams 27 points probably his best game as a Maverick I’ve liked what I’ve seen over the past three or four games uh from Grant Williams I

It and he was able to make them uh at will basically and Atlanta could do nothing even they tried in the fourth quarter to double team him didn’t really work there were a couple of possessions there where I thought Luca was actually a little too passive where they were

Blitzing him really hard and the the Hawks uh decided that they were not going to let Luca beat them and when Luca was passing it teammates weren’t making shots uh except for Josh Green who had a very good game so this roster obviously needs an upgrade for the

Mavericks to be a playoff Contender here I’m just not sure where that comes from we’re going to talk about some potential names here leading up to the trade deadline because obviously we are I believe February 8th so two two weeks away from that basically uh we’ll see what happens with this Maverick’s roster

But it they’re not they’re not good enough to to to contend in this Western Conference I still think it’s Denver I like Sacramento a lot we’ll see what happens with the Lakers but we’ll see but you guys let me know grade the

Mavericks can give up a guy like I don’t know Jaden Hardy maybe rwn Holmes and a second round pick to go get Royce O’Neal now if Brooklyn’s asking price is a first round pick I think I would have hesitation there but O’Neal is a guy

That play that is a little three and d and I think his numbers would only Elevate with Luca in the game so if you put Royce O’Neal stick him in the corner have him play that Grant Williams kind of Josh Green roll where he’s a Defender he’s they use his energy on the

Defensive end and the offensive end as well you can play a little transition with them think he could be a good acquisition for the Mavericks but I’m not sure if the MS are interested in that kind of play or if they’re more looking uh at the higher end of the

Market versus in the middle end of the market let me know would you trade for Royce O’Neal type y for yes Type n for no um I think at the right price I would I would trade for him I like Royce O’Neal a lot he’s been a veteran in this

League for a long time and I think he could help a team like the Mavericks who need a veteran presence and more importantly they need a tough presence to go out there and be able um to just just bully guys around and if someone needs to stand up for Luca or stand up
